I kind of wish Timmy WAS composing the whole album. :\ Just because, when Ayu actually works with new composers, the result is usually pretty fresh...

I don't mind the whole album too. I kinda "trust" him, not because I know his arragments (it's still 2 songs and one heard live.. Party queen) but I think his arragments fits her so far, they are very 'ayuish' but still fresh.

I think that's what they meant. I've seen people use the word 'arrangement' when they actually mean composition.

Its a hard spot for me. I like it when Ayu tries new things. I liked her collaborations on FIVE, and I even love BRILLIANTE, but once you work with these people too many times it gets stale. I'm not a huge fan of hbya or what I've heard of Party Queen, so I'm already at the point where I think Timmy is stale. Sorry, Timmy. I will be able to judge it the situation better after the release of PQ. I'm super excited for it.

Maybe they won't even show Timmy's red diaper (that much) on screen. I can remember that ayu wore a BEAUTIFULL STUNNING, AWESOME, FLATTERING dress in Rule's PV (during the soft/calm parts), they only showed her face and bust while the whole dress wasn't showed at all.

Timmys still pretty new. I dont really like the comp for Party Queen, but I find his style interesting and unusual, especially for Ayu.

idk, Im still eager to see how the album turns out. Im not gonna make any judgements about his writing ability yet cause, he barely even has a portfolio lol

I was overwhelmed by BRILLANTE at the beginning but now I just skip it - it's too overdone for me to enjoy beyond those first listens. It's epic, but on a level where it's over the top and is trying too hard. I haven't even wanted to look at the PV yet - I still have a few PVs I haven't seen lol. While BRILLANTE/Pq etc are good songs, they're just not something I see enjoying in 5 or 10 years like I have with Ayu's other works.

The problem with her overusing new stuff is that it gets old quickly. Nearly all of us got sick of Shu-ya being around her in EVERY performance and I can see it happening again with Timmy. Timmy does have talent as a composer but I want some consistency, not a quest to make every song sound completely different to everything else ever. If every song on the album has a 100% unique feel, the album will be a total mess. So I hope he gets rested and comes out (lol) only on every 2nd-3rd single at most. Maybe he could work on some interludes or concert-only tracks, though...

I don't hate Timmy's interaction and use with Ayu...at least not yet I would like to think this album has a but more to it than "here's this new guy - he's gonna be in my PVs, compose my songs, be everywhere". I don't see the point in her overuse of anything. Why not just save some for the next album or shoot or whatever? It's not going away...

You know, I think it has a little to do with her personality. Everything is about right here, right now.

And Ayu is strong-willed. I think a lot of...events in her life reflect that ideal.
