She lives in the Roppongi section of Tokyo.

I've heard at the top of the Roppongi Hills building. Which would make it very convenient for her Music Station appearances.

All she would have to do is take the elevator down to the bottom floor and cross a walkway and boom, she's on Music Station.

I believe she also own a property on the beach, but with all the work she does in Tokyo, I would doubt she is out of her Roppongi penthouse very often.

hahaha. Last time I was there, I stayed and kept an eye out, but no Ayu. I swear I saw some stars though. I'm just not very familiar with a lot of boy bands and other male Japanese stars. But the Minato/Roppongi area is apparently where most Japanese stars live. Anyways, 2 nights after concerts I got back to my hotel late, like past 11pm and on the walk from the station to the hotel, I'm sure I passed 2 different stars. You could tell simply because of how amazing they looked - you know, hair obviously professionally styled, tall for Japanese guys, just looked very well put together in general - definitely like people you would only see on TV. Not to mention the fact that they were both out walking their dogs that late at night with almost no one else out on the street.

Makes sense because Minato is primarily an area for expatriots, so it has a large foreign population and they aren't going to go nuts over seeing a star on the streets.

Anyways, they were both nice, giving me a smile and nod as we passed each other. Damn, I wish I knew who they were.

-So anyways, if you want to go Japanese star gazing, try that!

Yeah, TV Asahi(where Music Station is filmed) is part of the Roppongi Hills complex.

Assuming that Tomoya and Ayu are still together, they probably live with each other.

Everyone here should remember it's impossible for us to know where Ayu lives, but what SunshineSlayer says makes sense and is very probable. Next time I go to Tokyo I'll definately spend more time in Roppongi Hills

It is definitely fact that Ayu lives in Minato. What building she lives in is up for spec I guess, but I've been hearing Roppongi Hills from several people.

-Also, 2 interesting sidenotes. Minato is the real life setting of the anime Sailormoon.
-the military owns a hotel there for it's servicemen and family members, which is where I've stayed and found out from the restaurant staff that Olivia stays there often(her parents were in the military). Just too bad she wasn't staying there when I was.

TOKIO fans are saying that Ayu and Tomoya broke up a long time ago.. but she's still like, thanking MY HONEY and stuff in her booklets .. >> wtf. xD

I didn't even know she lives in Roppongi Hills. But yeah, you could sorta guess that, it's like the Beverly Hills of Tokyo.

The sidenote about SM is pretty interesting. I often wondered about it, since they're like running late in the evening all around the city almost all of the time in SailorMoon. There's this one building that they almost always show on SM, I wonder if it really exists.

I'm slowly guessing I'm gonna have to print myself few pages from Wikipedia when I'll be going there and then buy myself a good map

Of course they would say that. They want Nagase for themselves.

I have a feeling that Roppongi Hills may go under sometime in the future. The concept of it was great, but the excution is pretty piss poor imo. It wasn't exactly overflowing with people when I went there.

From what I understand, most of the buildings in the show are in fact real buildings in the minato-ku district. Mostly from the Azabu-Juuban area.

Where did those come from? Never seen them before. The one in the upper right hand corner doesn't fit with the rest, since it appears to be on the ground floor of something.

I'm really not sure if those are actually pictures of her place. They are so non-descript, with no real source given. Plus as I said, one picture was taken on a completely different floor from the others. Nothing in the kanji in the pics say anything about Ayumi.

I'm not sure if that is her place or not. And Roppongi Hills IS in Minato. It's either there or some other building in Minato - read previous posts.
