Kis-My-Ft2's Tamamori Yuta first movie starring role with Nishiuchi Mariya

It was announced that Kis-My-Ft2′s Tamamori Yuta will be starring in the film adaptation of Arikawa Hiro‘s original novel “Raintree no Kuni”. Tamamori will be playing the role of a salaryman, with co-star singer- model Nishiuchi Mariya as the heroine. This is also the first movie for both leads.

Arikawa’s “Rein Tsuri no Kuni” tells the pure love story between two people who have never met. Tamamori plays the role of Sakisaka Nobuyuki, a salary man from a food company who starts exchanging emails with the owner of “Rain Tree no kuni” blog named Hitomi (Nishiuchi). Hitomi has a secret that she can’t say in person.

Tamamori who plays the lead, says the role is his complete opposite. As for his first time to work with Nishiuchi, Tamamori admitted being shy at first but acting with Nishiuchi turns-out to be fun because she’s very friendly and bright.

Tamamori is revved up “I’m really happy. Because it’s the first time I’m starring in a movie, I have to put up a fighting spirit”.

Yoshishige Miyake will be directing. Filming starts last October 18. Filming took place in Osaka, especially in the metropolitan suburbs area, and shooting will take about a month in schedule.

Kis-My-Ft2's Tamamori Yuta lands first lead movie role in 'Raintree no Kuni'

Kis-My-Ft2's Tamamori Yuta has landed his first lead movie role in the film adaptation of Arikawa Hiro's novel 'Raintree no Kuni'.

Tamamori will play the role of 'Sakisaka Nobuyuki', a salaryman who falls in love with the heroine 'Hitomi Rika'. The role of 'Hitomi' will be played by model Nishiuchi Mariya. On his first time playing the lead in a movie, Tamamori expressed, "I was honestly very happy. It's my first time being in charge of a lead role for a movie, so I am giving it my all."

Based on Arikawa's long-selling novel, 'Raintree no Kuni' is a love story that begins when Nobuyuki comes across a blog called 'Raintree no Kuni' that contains impressions on a book that he loved during his middle school days. After exchanging e-mails with the blog's owner Hitomi, who refuses to meet people in person, Nobuyuki falls in love with her. The movie will be directed by Miyake Yoshishige, who was also in charge of film adaptations of Arikawa's 'Kencho Omotenashi ka' and 'Hankyu Densha Katamichi 15-fun no Kiseki'.

Tamamori commented on his role, "He's very straightforward. He's the kind of person who clearly states what's on his mind. A complete opposite of me." He added, "It's my first salaryman role, so in advance, I asked my friends what kinds of things are difficult." Finally, he gave the appeal of the movie, saying, "It's a warm movie that portrays the love of two straightforward people, so I want those who watch it to become all tingly inside."

As for Nishiuchi, this will be her first time starring in a live-action film. "It was my goal to star in a movie, so I was very happy to receive the offer," she shared and reflected, "Tamamori-san cheerfully came to talk to me exactly in the image of Nobuyuki. The director even gave me advice about my role. So I was able to relax as I went into set."

Filming for the movie started on October 18. It's expected to take about a month mainly in Tokyo and partially in Osaka.

'Raintree no Kuni' will open in theatres nationwide in 2015.

Kis-My-Ft2 announce new single + New Year event

On November 7, Kis-My-Ft2 kicked off their 4 major dome tour 'Kis-My-Journey' at Tokyo Dome. During this concert, the group announced the release of their new single "Thank you Jyan!" on December 24, and their first New Year event called "Shinshun Kis-My-Fukubukuro ~Kotoshi mo Yoroshiku Thank you Jyan~!" from January 5 to 8 at Yokohama Arena.

Kis-My-Ft2 is the fastest male artist to achieve a 4 major dome tour since their debut. At a press conference before the live, the members drew names to decide their standing positions. Through the drawing, 3 members of 'Busaiku', Senga Kento, Nikaido Takashi, and Miyata Toshiya, who are usually in the back, were "promoted" to stand in the front. Standing in the very center of the members, Senga exclaimed, "It's bright, that light!" Meanwhile, Yokoo Wataru (also a member of Busaiku), who remained in the back, said, "How relaxing. I will continue to protect this spot."

Regarding the title of their new single, Tamamori Yuta commented, "We want to thank the fans who made this 4 major dome possible." For the upcoming New Year event, which is expected to draw in 165,000 people, the members will be able to interact with their fans at a close distance. The members also hope to tour both domestically and internationally next year. "Please continue to support us next year," said Senga.

The live was self-produced by the members of Kis-My-Ft2 themselves; the costumes by Tamamori, Fujigaya Taisuke, and Yokoo, the stage by Kitayama Hiromitsu and Nikaido. The members also excited fans with a dance choreographed by Senga, and there was even an comedy segment produced by Miyata.

After performing 34 songs over 3 hours, Kitayama called out to the crowd, "Our journey will continue on with everyone, so please continue to support us!"

All 7 Members of Kis-My-Ft.2 To Appear Semi-Nude in An An Magazine

On the 15th, it was reported that popular group Kis-My-Ft2 will all be appearing in the issue of “anan” to be sold on the 19th, taking on the challenge of a semi-nude photoshoot.

The special feature will be of the popular photo collection that always boasts high sales called “Otoko no Karada” [lit. Body of a Man]. Up until now, the likes of Arashi’s Sakurai Sho have graced the magazine in the same special feature, but in an advertisement in the current issue of anan, it has been reported that one of the talents that feature in the magazine will have a “groundbreaking” spread, leaving the female readers to wonder “Who’s going to take it off?”

The 7 members will take on a 12 page colour graveur spread. Fujigaya Taisuke has already revealed it all in a nude spread but this will be the first time that all 7 will be removing their clothing. They have each done courses of individual training and have even been stoic about not eating meals while in the midst of the photo shoots. Tamamori Yuta stated “I want to create a body with which I can undress at anytime and not feel embarrassed,”showing his professionalism.

They delved into various theories of the flesh, with Fujigaya saying “It is important to have a body with the type of flexibility that can correspond with any type role that comes [my way].” Nikaido said, “I want the kind of body of the people who wore roller skates and skated in the 70′s and 80′s.”

The one photo that was publicised is only a “sneak peak” but a person associated with anan says “There are more risqué cuts.” It is said that in this single graveur that you will see bodies that will make your heart race.

The 4th artist line up for Fuji TV's music festival '2014 FNS Kayosai' (December 3 at 7:00 pm) has been announced. 16 Johnny's Entertainment artists (71 members) will be gathering for the festival.

The artists who have been announced at this time are Kondo Masahiko, SMAP, TOKIO, KinKi Kids, V6, Arashi, Takizawa Hideaki, NEWS, Kanjani8, KAT-TUN, Hey! Say!
