The vocals and overall mood is way better here; however their dancing is not that good. For me they could have dropped the entire group dancing parts. It's awkward and misplaced. Either you have to do it all the way through (like SNSD) or don't do it at all. This was "trying too hard to show that we have skills". Catchy song though

Did you guys all hear their new song? It's the theme song for the horror movie "Bilocation". I really like it!

avex probably decided to go that route when they discovered nobody gave a fuck about them.
But don't care, "The One" is an absolute guilty pleasure. But idk how it fits the themes of a horror movie.

To be honest that's the whole point of boygroups and girlgoups and the reason why they are popular in the first place. I'm not trying to bash them, but the formular behind those groups is always the same, especially when they are popular. It's all about the marketing, nothing more. I don't like to admit it, but I really like Momusu. Are Momusu's members more special or unique than of other girlgroups? No. Is their music more special or unique than of other girlgroups? No. They're just catchy, that's it. And I got to know them when I discovered J-Pop back then, I guess that's why I like them in the first place: nostalgia.
Avex just failed regarding a great marketing strategy for FAKY and how I see it they also didn't wanted to spend much money on them. Little promo = little success. Personally I have to say I find FAKY way more interesting than most of those groups. FAKY after all was based on the image of cool and somehow tough girls, what was great considering all those girlgroups based on cutesy. Last edited by Chibi-Chan; 18th July 2014 at 01:14 AM. |

I think FAKY was more appealing to you because it's more westernized than the other japanese groups we have, so it's more easy for you to be listening to them ^^

I always felt like FAKY was a copy of 2NE1. So if even 2NE1 can't succeed in Japan FAKY doesn't even have a chance

I don't think the Japanese public cares for this type of girl group at all in general, so. I'd be really surprised if anyone truly thought they'd be highly successful there.
They aren't even that cute...And they certainly aren't cute by Japanese standards either. They're in a weird place lol
