[Namie Amuro] Is PAST really < FUTURE?

Now that we've all had time to Namie's new album, do you agree with the title? I'm assuming 'PAST' refers to everything before P<F and 'FUTURE' is represented by the album in itself.

EXPLANATIONS

PAST < FUTURE - You think PAST < FUTURE is Namie's best album to date and you think she's constantly growing as an artist.

PAST = FUTURE - You think Namie's new album doesn't show any drastic development, it's just more of the same Namie we already know.

PAST > FUTURE - Some or all of her previous albums are better. The quality of her music is declining.

PAST < FUTURE, definitely. I LOVE the new direction Namie is going to. I can definitely see the changes in P<F from her older albums and I love them, even if they are not that big. And yes, P<F is my fav album by her ever and I love almost all of her albums (except from first 2 albums, but that's because I still didn't listen to them).

I really liked PAST < FUTURE when I first heard it, now it's starting to give me a headache..so I've stopped listening for a while. I've gone back to QOHP weirdly, I really do love that album..

I went for the second option, cause I loved Namie before and was expecting something like this from her. ~

i definitely chose PAST < FUTURE. i like her doing the American-R&B styles and her vocal is really getting better (drastically)!!!
i really don't know, i just love her current works at the moment...XD

PAST < FUTURE definitely. I was never a huge huge Namie fan, I don't really like a lot of her songs, but I LOVE the entire album, so imo, it's a step in the right direction <3

^this is exactly my opinion too. P<F was the first namie album I loved from beginning to end. She has some good songs in the past too but none of them come close to many of the songs on her new album

I don't see that big of a change from PLAY to PAST<FUTURE. But there is a huge difference from Style to PAST<FUTURE. So I guess her style is gradually changing but not enough to warrant her new music being better than her post-Style albums.

well, PAST < FUTURE pretty much if we are comparing to the music she released a bit after her debut. But PAST = FUTURE when it only comes to PLAY

do i want her to go back to 90's amuro? no. that would be silly. but i wish she expressed emotions like she did back then. her voice stays at the same tone for the majority of her newer songs, only going up/down when she sings oohh's and lalala's. it's also very muffled. the music is way louder than her voice. it's distracting to me...

its not like i don't enjoy her new stuff, it's still fun...however, even though "new look" is fun, it's basically the same equivalent as an english singer singing: "i'm going shopping lol chocolate twiggy i got a new minnie skirt and i'm getting my hair done la la la new look omg" o_o.
