LOVEppears album question

So I've had the original '99 CD album since it first released over 20 years ago and have always wondered, is there a specific reason that the bonus 2nd remix cd was included? It's always felt kinda random to me and I was wondering if there was a real reason behind it.

I guess it's just a move to reintroduce Ayu as a popstar. There's a huge difference of sound between her first and her second album. The second disc brings Asfxx melodies to LOVEppears universe through remixes. At least that's my personal take of it all, never read anything official.
