I'm excited for a new remix album, because it'll be the first one (I think?) released during my time as a fan. :]

I've only been following Ayu since around (miss)understood-era, and yeah, I feel I'm a little late into the game. ^^;

I'd love it when AT4 comes out but I'd die and go to heaven if an Ayu-ro mix 4 was made (and with ALL the labels, not just A-BEAT-C, Delta, and Time... O_o) I can't wait to find out which songs will be remixed, and by who. (if it happens... idk... is it official yet?)

Ayu really needs more remix albums...

So, there is official confirmation via Twitter: ayu and max matsuura himself. a fan asked a few days ago when it would be released, and max replied "we are now working on it."

they won't announce anything on her site until it's closer to release.

I've never been a fan of remix albums, because they don't have much replay value for me...I don't get much enjoyment out of 6 minutes of beeping with a few lyrics of the song repeated a few times. The only remixes I like are the ones like HAL's mixes, or the Juicy Ariyama mix of Endless Sorrow...remixes that don't sound too robotic/lifeless. I've always loooved the Acoustic Orchestra albums...probably the Common Practice nerd in me coming out

Either way, I'd love to see a new Acoustic album...preferably, one in the same vein of MY STORY Classical, since many of her recent songs were already released as Acoustic Orchestra versions. I would detest a mere compilation of these.

Trance isn't lifeless at all - it's very emotional actually. So melodic. House is pretty much just beeping and stuff but not trance!

Actually electro/nu-disco/french house can be very emotional and full of life and melodies as well imo. Check out artists like Russ Chimes, Fred Falke, Diamond Cut, Grum, Fear of Tigers, etc. I would LOVE it if Ayu came out with a remix album with this genre.

I can't wait to hear news of what remixers will have stuff on Ayu Trance 4.

Yes, people are very misinformed about electronic dance music. It's so vast!

^ Agree. I'm a huge EDM fan, especially a fan of Trance and I can't believe how anyone can find it to be nothing but beeps! I get having your own opinions but Electronic music can be just as emotional as all other kinds of music. I think that any kind of music can be emotional when produced properly.

And still can't for the announcements! I'm dying to know who the remixers are. I still want Above & Beyond, Lange, Rank 1, Norman Bass, Wippenberg, Armin van Buuren, ect to all come back and do some banging new remixes. And still want some new people like Maor Levi, Nitrous Oxide, and Arty to come remix. One of my dream songs: "Pride (Nitrous Oxide Remix)" <-- Yes, I realize that this will never happen. XD but it would be EPIC.
