What do you mean when they translate the japanese titles in chinese for TW press? Do they actually write the Chinese title on the cover and tracklist, instead of a separate translation sheet? O:

they will have an additional translation sheet for the song lyrics and the emcee session(in case you are talking about DVD)
as for the cover, their sticker is in chinese, the OBI is in chinese, the tracklist on the obi is in chinese the translation sheet : the obi: Last edited by nanakopy87; 7th April 2010 at 11:32 AM. |

I'm talking about both albums and live DVDs. So, it's not on the actual cover and tracklist of the album lah. And the sticker you're talking about is the one they put on the plastic cover right? Haha, good to know!
Oh yeah, what's the price difference between TW and HK press, is it big? Right now I'm considering which press to buy for AT09.

its not really big differences between TW and HK press
basically there is no OBI for HK press(DVD) and TW press has the OBI(because they need to translate the tracklist and the description into chinese words) of course not.if you throw away the obi and the plastic bag,and cover the codes at the side+the infos at the bottom, you can saw your copy is JP press |

Oooh. On the sides of the actual CD case, do they write Bin Qi Bu or Hamasaki Ayumi? 0__0 I don't really care for the obi and plastic cover anyway XD Sorry for the many questions, you've been very helpful!

For HK/TW/SG presses, it will be ayumi hamasaki/Ayumi Hamasaki like the Japan press but for China press, one side would have ayumi hamasaki and the other would have her Chinese name.

I see. I usually buy SG press when I splurge in HMV during my yearly Singapore visits, or HK press if I couldn't wait that long, haha. First time attempting to buy TW press, glad it's not much different.

The TW press is by far the best OS press in terms of printing quality. The colors are the closest (though it's still a little bit more saturated) and the paper quality too.

Taiwan and HK Presses...well I think HK Presses look closer to the JP Versions but TW Press qualities are definitely superior. China press = unacceptable.

Yes, TW press is the best quality. I once bought a Tommy February6 CD from a taiwanese seller (I was still new to buying asian cd's at the time) and the CD was of such excellent quality I thought it was the JP press... until I looked carefully at the credits lol. I bought RnRC taiwan press as well, the colors are darker but otherwise very good.
Korean presses are pretty good as well though that glossy thing they do with booklets is helluva annoying because it's so easy to leave fingerprints! -.- I haven't bought any HK or China press but I learned early on that China press is the cheapest, worst quality you can get. There used to be tons on ebay offering super cheap CD's with odd tracklistings and awful coloring... I used to be tempted to buy them before I did my research, lol.

I have a mixture of Taiwan , Hong Kong & China presses of stuff . Taiwan is generally considered to be the most superior , OS press wise
avex Taiwan really does not stinge when comes to quality . I'm fine with HK press too cos the OBI is not white & blue in the centre but eh I care the most for the contents so OBIs & etc are secondary to me

hey may i know how will the taiwan version for ayu's album look like? I know the obi paper will be in blue white, chinese name of ayu. But what about the casing below the obi? Eg. Japanese version of Love songs - ayumi hamasaki Love songs AVCD-38218. [http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b7...89/i38218.jpg] So how will the taiwan version look like? Will it be in her chinese name or eng?
