Panasonic?

Since when did Ayu start her contract with Panasonic? 2002? And also is there a full listing of her CMs done with Panasonic. Third of all I'd like to request some images from Panasonic.. especially making-of images, posters, wallpapers and premier images if it is possible. Thank you ^^

It started late 2001 actually, because it was the first any of us heard of "Daybreak".

Here's a list of the CMs (this should be in almost exact chronological order, though i still don't have dates for most of these yet:
TaU TV (Daybreak)
Dream DVD (Daybreak)
D-snap AV-10 (Daybreak)
Dockin' style MD MJ50 (Daybreak)
Lumix F7 ("hitomi ni kuchizuke" by BREATH)
Lumix F1 (Daybreak "HAL's Mix 2002")
57MD (Free & Easy)
Dockin' style MD (everywhere nowhere)
Lumix F1/FZ1 (Heartplace)
D-snap AV-30 (Real me)
Lumix F1/FZ1 (RAINBOW)
77MD (everlasting dream "Rainbow Dew Drop Mix")
D-snap AS10 (ANGEL'S SONG)
Dockin' Style MD MJ57 (No way to say)
Lumix FX5/FX1 (Because of You)
PM700MD (GAME)
VIErA ("Time To Say Goodbye" by Sarah Brightman)
Lumix FX7 (CAROLS/CAROLS "Classical Version")
Dockin' Style MD MJ59 (walking proud)
D-snap AS-30 (my name's WOMEN)
710SD (STEP you)
D-snap SD100v (STEP you)
Lumix FX8 (alterna)
Lumix FX9 (Will)

And I have alot of images from them (posters, official wallpapers, etc), but they're not uploaded anywhere cuz my site is down. I'll post a few more times with some images attached. (I apologize to the mods in advance for the multiple posts in a row.)

There was also a clock you could download that counted down to the start of the olympic games. I never had it though.

For the D-Snap AV10 campaign...

Poster...

and flyer.

Banner that I think is about 3.5 to 4 feet tall but i'm not sure at all to be honest.

And a little plastic dangly thing for store shelves. I love these things.

More to come for more campaigns I'll have everything I have for all of them up for you in a few hours, don't worry ^_^

Woah so many images! Thank you so much. I shall await eagerly for the next photos *-* and I must say that she has been doing quite a lot of CMs with Panasonic.. with Bold and Delicious they will account to 25, if I am not wrong!

Also I have a couple of additions to make which I believe you do not have. Hope they are helpful to you as much as you were to me. I saved all the images myself and was sooo happy and grateful that I really do hope these images are helpful to you.

I think this is either a banner horizontally or taken from the official Panasonic site? I am sorry that I do not know but I think I got it from an auction website.

Lumix F1 (Daybreak "HAL's Mix 2002")

Golden Wallpaper without text onto it. Probably fan-made but nice nonethless.

Gigantic Poster plastered onto a skyscraper.

Don't know if these were edited or taken from the official Panasonic site. Nonetheless I posted them here just in case you'd like to have them.

I want that! I would hang it on my house roof and pull it to make a tent so everyone sees it.. She must be getting a lot from Panasonic for being with them for so long.. Panasonic must be benefitting too.

XD Actually I think she does get the major amount of her income from her CMs. I think I've read it from somewhere. And honestly I cannot think of anyone else better than her to be the spokeperson of Panasonic. Anyhow.. onto the next photos.

Dockin' style MD

Poster & Close-up

Another huge image from a skyscraper

Lumix F-1/F-Z1 CM

Making of image I assume...

Huge poster onto of a building/skyscraper

A clearer version of the poster. I do believe this one was uploaded by a member of AHS tho I forgot the name. My apologies.

I donno what is this.. but anyhow here is it.

Anyhow these are the images which I think you do not have. Hope I helped you as much as I did ^_^ as soon as you post the other images, if you do I shall post the ones you don't have as a small thank you for your help ^^

I think all japanese artist don't get as much money from their record companies as artists in the west too. japanese record companies are greedy

Actually, japanese record labels aren't as greedy as US labels. The profit margin from cd sales is monetarily higher than it is for a US artist, though the percentage is lower (cds being more expensive in japan). American artists get virtually nothing for cds; that's why they have to tour. That's where they get all their money from. Since no label employees are really involved in the production of the concert, the money from that (and the merchandise sales) goes almost all straight to the artist. That's often why japanese labels have schemes & best-of compilations to generate more income. They have to pull all sorts of gimmicks to make a real profit. The American industry is tantamount to thievery at the moment, so they don't really need to do much. CMs help artists in two ways; one, they do get paid a large lump sum for the endorsement, and two, it helps promote the song & generate interest in a new release.

And thank you, demure_dusk, SO MUCH for those other panasonic pictures!! I'm always on the lookout for more and that's a help. ^____^

Okay, next campaign!

Happy to help ^^ I like collecting these kinds of images for some reason XD
I'll try to help you too and fill you in as much as I can. If I can, since my collection is kind of limited. Thanks to you I could sort the images into each CM.

Also, I see now why tours are so important. Since I'm not American I don't really know much about the American pop scene. I do think that after all though having a stable contract with a company to release a CM along with every release does indeed help an artist to have income and also stable sales levels. Ayu herself is lucky to have Panasonic.

Anyhow onto the next campaign. One of my personal favourites since it's so simple yet elegant.

The Panasonic F1-FZ1

Same poster as Delirum-Zer0 but kind of darker. The quality is pretty much the same though.. maybe slightly better if it is.
