The new PV is for Nagai Aida, Kiroro was the original performer. Aya Matsuura also did a cover of Nagai Aida. Maybe that's where you heard it?

Actually, I just figured it out! Cheon Sang Ji Hee The Grace did a Korean cover on their Too Good single called "Your Smile." That's where I know it from.

Ayu also performed nagai aida with kiroro on ayuready. It's beautiful song, I think it's one of the most beautiful japanese jpop songs ever. Lots of versions have been made since, also a nice one by ayaya.
