JAPONESQUE, Party Queen and Uncontrolled all have their own blemishes, if you ask me.
I like to listen to songs on JAPONESQUE and Uncontrolled separately as I find them to be weak albums. Party Queen's songs are average but are way better together as a whole.

lol, I respect that its your opinion, but you used your opinion to argue that ayumi's work was superior in quality of musicl. Superiority in quality in music shouldn't be measured by personal taste, but object factors, such as use of professional writers, professional recordings, perhaps vocal ability.

I'm not attacking Love In Music's opinion. No need for anyone to feel offended, or feel that "it's obviously an opinion". Just that you can't use subject opinions to argue certain things. You are most definately entitled to an opinion.

I don't particularly agree with all of your objective factors....such as professional writers? I think good quality music can be made without that depending on what the person writes.

But not everyone agrees on objective factors anyway or their existence.


I don't think you have to take the superior quality statement so literally. She means it sounds better to her. It's very simple. Nothing to point out imo.


I'm really liking the covers more and more...idk. With each day the little things that bothered me just don't bother me much anymore.

Hmm.. I think different people judge what good quality music is. I don't believe there is some special formula to judge music quality that everyone goes by. It's different for each person. But anyway, I wasn't stating my opinion as fact which it seems like you think I was doing. Maybe it was the way I worded it, I don't know. What I meant was that I prefer Party Queen and Japonesque to Namie's new album. I think the songs on those albums are so much stronger vocally, emotionally, lyrically, and most of the songs on those albums have a certain spark/excitement factor that Namie's songs on her new album lack. That's what I myself look for when I'm judging music the most.. the excitement factor. I can even disregard any sort of vocal flaws (hello, I am an ayu fan after all..) if the song itself gets me excited in some way.

Hope I made myself clear enough and maybe you can get a better understanding why I came to that conclusion and made the post I made. I really was just stating my opinion, that's all.
