yes i respect her b/c she kept her child through divorce and works really really hard (b/c she's a mother and still releases great music!). and she's just freakin gorgeous. she's like a doll! and her voice is so womanly hot and cool. but her music is ok... i'm so addicted to "no" and "namie's style" though. she's a great artist for sure.

to have been around since the 90s and still be this popular, Namie has to be thought of as an icon. She's been through many rough times like her mother being murdered, yet she came back from it all. She may not be on top like she used to be, but Namie's still cranking out hits. It's very admirable. All of her new songs are awesome (some of her oldies are ok), her voice is different and fun, and she's freaking beautiful! She takes care of her kid all while being a great singer and dancer. I really look up to her.

She is a definite Icon of j-pop music for sure. She does have a handful of great songs too (especially SUITE CHIC-Style-QOHP). Her dancing is a major turn off imo. It looks soo iffy and it looks like she has no enthusiasm when she dances. My bro and i always make fun of it in WoWa haha

Although I'm not a fan of her early years, I have to LUV her. She can sing, dance, adn everything else. Her R&B/Hip-hop style is real unlike most J-urban artist in Japan. I luv her transformation from pop to R&B....it's saying she doesn't want to sell herself out and constantly do the same stuff. I have MAJOR for her. I will be a fan of NAMIE forever! (WOOOOOT!)

I don't really like her new material because i'm not a fan of hip-hop / RnB so that's a major factor. I prefer her older material and style of music such as that Love Enhanced single collection. Though i do like some of her hip-hop stuff like ALARM, Girl talk, CSCEIS, FUNKY TOWN and Hide & Seek. But i prefer stuff like BODY feels exit and the like XD!
