I second this. It's annoying to go through every damn thread about new releases or tours and to look for new info just to find a hundred posts about "funny" tracklists.

About the egyptian theme, I'd rather have a Japanese themed CDL rather than watching cultural appropriation issues in a concert I was supposed to enjoy

I think You and Me is one of her worst songs ever. And I actually like Feel the love, it's very uplifting

^ To me it's the opposite hahaha I didn't like Y&M at first tho, but after watching it live, I couldn't not enjoy it. Feel the love otoh just doesn't feel like a "ayu's song" but rather a song with ayu vocals (not sure if that makes sense), it is generic and doesn't get nowhere... I do listen to it sometimes tho, it is on my cardio workout playlist

Ayu has done a lot of ~cultural appropriation~ (this screams "tumblr" so much) in her career lmao, just look at her "blackface" on appears cover, or her Don't look back performance... but it doesn't bother me, once you start to know what cultural appropriation is you start to see it everywhere and you can't enjoy anything so better put that away when it comes to Ayu.
I'd actually like that theme.

^ yeah, I know, Kuu and many other (J)pop singers do those very often also. I mean, 11 out the 12 singles collection from Kuu can be labeled as this lol The thing is I can stand one or two perfomances like this, but a whole concert would make me feel a bit uncomfortable, I guess, and make it harder to enjoy its fun side

I don't understand the big deal with the supposed "cultural appropriation" by artists?? Why we can't see it just like paying homage to a culture which has a strong image/impact over the world ?

Don't you think that the black face on appears is more based on the Ganguro style than anything else ...

Btw a full Japanese theme with her songs reworked with traditional instruments would be amazing !!! I would love it !!

I think she should go with the feeling of the tour and do a fan vote for songs - although, as I type this, i jsut realized we will get boring songs.

I think that Egyptian theme is more like Kuu's style tbh.

And that setlist. I wpuld have believed it if songs were written in their correct form. There's way too many songs written wrongly.

Well, let's avoid this cultural pff topic discussion and lemme rewrite it: I prefer a Japanese themed CDL over Egyptian. She could perform GREEN again, and song re-arranged songs to fit the theme

I can see why they would get...old. But it truly is a different experience when you're there at the concert.
