You never know.. I mean.. those Kinki Kids SELL. But I don't think I've seen them top Ayu.. have they?

They have the longest streak of number ones in Japanese music history. But, since it is only one of the Kinki Kids and the slightly less popular one, Ayu will probably still beat him.

Er, when I typed that, I meant.. I've never really seen them in the yearly charts topping Ayu.. but then again, I might've missed something x.x

Doesn't seem to be much difference between My Story and (miss)understood's sales ... there are a lot or variables.

(miss)'s first 2 weeks were confusing.. leaked copies, national holidays.. doesn't seem fair to treat it like two 'proper' weeks of sales.
My Story's sales were just BEFORE Xmas ... i dont know how much that affects the Japanese charts (not as much as the UK charts im sure!), but it can't have hurt, can it?

Then we have the Bold & Delicious fiasco .. very mixed reception that broke the trend of the singles debuting on 150k-200k pretty dramatically.

I just worry that people are going to associate (miss) with B&D and lose sight of the other great singles..

time for a Greatest hits yet?

I think Ayu can sell 1mil by next week or two. but I think it will be very close.

Heck how annoying, just 2 weeks and competition already pushed it. I hope it gets back to number 1. Ai Otsuka is selling steadily, hope AYu is available to do that. Ai is surely gonna reach 1 million with Love Cook.

OMG!!! Number 1 again!!! Wow!!! If she gets to be number 1 for the rest of the week, there's a huge chance that she'll be number 1 for the third week in a row!!! I really wish (and i think) that this one will sell really really well I wish this one will sell better than My Story. Wow... amazing hold for Ayu (though it's understandable, given the lack of huge competition)
