^I bought the OS version too. But overseas sales don't count I think.

All this talk about sales going up during the tour is giving me hope... *sniff*

I'm starting to give up hope that ANYBODY will be able to reach that mark. The numbers these days are startling, even people like BoA had ridiculously low starting sales. Probably the only ones that will hit that million mark are the best albums that were released during the Christmas period.

Err.. Not to spoil anything.. But I dont think that My Story's sales was influenced by the tour. Maybe like 50 000 copies in total but.. Well, lets be optimistic anyway.

Exactly. Word by word. Whats the last album to reach 800 000 after (miss)understood? I don't think any.. Otsuka Ai is close, but hers was released before Ayu.

more often than not you can't blame the sales on the "quality" of the songs, because it's impossible to know what everyone will think of it. On this forum it seems that most people think that MY STORY was a lot worse than (m) u but MY STORY still had considerably higher sales.

true, but i think for BoA its kinda different, i mean basically 2 of her 4 singles released were flops which probably did lead to y her album doing poorly.

True though, OUTGROW was simply not good enough. But I thought her popularity would have carried her through anyway. Definitiely didn't expect sales to be at 220,000+ only, really low for a BoA album.

Unless somebody comes up with something spectacular, I'm not going to be very optimistic.
