After looping the album several dozen times over, I think that the album is pretty strong. I didn't listen to the album until about August of this year so going into it, I wasn't really sure how it'd turn out after the first few listens. However, it lacks punchy tracks though, which I expect to be around for the next album hopefully after two full albums with mainly medium/rock elements.

i think the biggest problem with loveagain is composition there is huge gap and lacking in the transitions between the verses and chorus, that ruined the album for me because of the obvious gap. on top of that ayus vocals were not consistently the same it was obvious that there was a huge vocal difference between the mini albums and the album tracks, plus her vocals were super croaky in the album tracks. some of the lyrics on the album was rehashed and not exciting. I personally loved every single album by ayumi ( even a song for xx and party queen) but this album was her weakest vocally, instrumentally, production wise, and lyrically. I hope she releases a better album. But on the bright side every singer has a bad album and in my opinion this is the only one out of all her albums.

I love all of her albums (eventually) and I don't think any of them could ever really be said to be the 'worst' of a bunch for me. For what it is, I think LOVE again is a really solid album that gets far too much flack partly due to the Maro and mini-album fiasco.

What? I absolutely adore MY STORY, one of my top favorite album of hers! I'll never understand why so many people think it's weak

I never said the issue was that MY STORY was weak, but it has a similar feel to LOVE again. It has a major amount of midtempo tracks and ballads and I fall asleep most times when I try to listen to MY STORY all the way through. It's her longest album ever, I think, unless Love songs is a bit longer...?

I LOVE LOVE again. I listen to tracks from it nearly every day. I personally don't think it's at all boring- simple maybe, but beautiful. And her voice sounds lovely on nearly every track.

This movie sounds like it calls for something akin to Will or maybe a less dark BRILLANTE. I can't wait!

I've been back and forth between looping LOVE again/FIVE/Party Queen and they all really hold up well. Even when I go back to an older album like Memorial address or (miss)understood. Maybe not Memorial address though.

I wasn't saying specifically about your comment, sorry, it's just that it seems to be a general opinion, so many find it weak
I personally don't find MY STORY to be boring at all, it's completely different from LOVE again imo

I don't really care about the length, but my absolute favorite Ayu album actually happens to be Love songs with the SEVEN DAYS WAR bonus track, so YAY for super long albums!
On the other hand, my top favorites also include Party Queen and Duty that are among the shortest... I actually don't even notice the length while listening

Melody got a lot of love eventually. It's stunning. It's a real standout on that album.
