though facebook isn't the best thing for privacy with them always changing there privacy rules. Especially with their most recent changes

I don't even know how to add Ayu as a friend, even if I wanted to. I suck at Facebook. I don't think it hurts for people to try adding her, though I doubt she will accept. I think she meant for it to be private, but kinda got exposed by her friends by accident. I don't know much about privacy settings, though, as I said, I suck at Facebook.

Facebook changes their privacy rules a lot, but if you have made conscious effort and have specific settings (instead of just the default) usually they won't change them much on you. Although my mom has had hers changed a few times. They've never changed mine.

You can control who gets to tag you, you can control who sees pictures of you. You can control everything pretty much :/

The picture things changed, all it take now is for someone to like a post, then that post will become public on facebook for anyone to see from whoever liked it, only if the persons set to private themselves will it stay private

Due to the new "graph app" anyone on Facebook (including other countries ) can see your pictures, likes & comments.

This happens when friends click "like" or "comment"....automatically, their friends would see our posts, too. Unfortunately, we cannot change this setting by ourselves because Facebook configured it that way

I remember a few months ago when peoples PRIVATE messages were appearing on their walls, some sort of glitch. Least to say, I didn't use Facebook chat for awhile

I just don't use Facebook for anything interesting. As long as you don't put any secrets on there, you're okay. I use it to keep in contact with family and friends...

...I say again, I'm really surprised Ayu just didn't use a fake name and ask close friends/family not to tag her. I know a few celebrities have admitted using Facebook under a pseudonym just to keep in touch with people. The fact she seems to be okay with people tagging her seems to me like she's okay with people knowing she's around on a private account.

Of course, it could be the case she doesn't use it often and isn't aware that people know.

Personally I use Twitter a lot more than Facebook. And I never talk about anything interesting so I don't really care if the whole world sees what I put there. The most interesting stuff I talk about is found on Twitter instead because I love that a lot more♥

but the funny thing with facebook is, whatever you have uploaded / posted to even a year ago, facebook will always keep it. Nothing ever gets completely deleted from facebook

How come every time she types something new in english someone thinks she's been studying hard. Her english was excellent when many of us met her in 2010 & I'm sure even before that. Just cause things are mispronounced when she's singing, doesn't mean her english is terrible. You try singing a fast song in 2 languages and see if you notice the difference in pronunciation between your native language and the one you learned as an adult. JPOP in general needs to drop trying to act American and just sing in Japanese, it would sound much better.
