Top 40!
Get used to it, Ayu. This may not ever happen again. |
#409
^ but if you think about all the releases she has had this year...
over 400K in sales... pretty good really. lol |

Top 40 isn't bad. ^-^

Wow koda kumi and ayu are always right next to each other. When it comes down to overall sales!!

Hmm it doesn't look too dire or bleak for Ayu from this perspective. 2 albums in top 50 for 2012. Thanks for the info!

or the fact that she sold over 400K...
how many solo's can do that in today's state of album sales. |
#415
^^ Namie did it with just one album.
I think Ayu needs to re-evaluate some things and come back strong. It is a shame, but she had a long run of success. She's still successful, but don't think she'll be doing huge numbers again. |
#416

I'm surprised that Namie is out of the Top 10. '-'
#417

So?
I didn't say anything about namie. I'm talking about Ayumi. |
#418
You said "how many solo's can do that in today's state of album sales." Just pointing out that Namie did it with one album.
400k is a good number, but that would be a great number for one album. |
#419

^ I wasn't saying that ayumi is the only one... but how many can say that.
2 female solos? it doesnt really matter HOW many releases you have, but the final number. |

It matters to avex. They have to produce only one generic Namie album with only 4 new tracks to make more money than they make from one Ayumi album, one Ayumi Best-of and two Ayumi EPs combined. Kinda sad really.
