They don't. They used to and I got tickets that way before but it seems they changed their policy because now it doesn't work.

For those who want to see Ayu at the Yokohama Arena:

This seating map, which I made, is probably not 100% accurate (especially when it comes to the blocks around the lower half of the circle) but it should give people an idea which seats to choose, if the stage design is the same like in 2009 and previous years.

I also scanned a part of my ticket and marked my seat in the seating map.

Generally, I would recommend buying A2, A3, B2 or B3 tickets at the Yokohama Arena because you will be quite close to Ayu.

Spoiler:

Searching for tickets on YJ!A:

Last year I used those keywords to look for floor tickets at the Yokohama Arena:
Quote:
浜崎あゆみ 5/10 センター
Ayu's name in Kanji + concert date (M/D) + floor seat (in Yokohama they are called Center/センター but in other arenas like Yoyogi the floor seats are called Arena/アリーナ)

Has anyone tried finding tickets in resale shops outside of the Tokyo area? My friend and I were going to try to catch a concert in Osaka when we travel down there in a few days, but I wasn't sure if there was an abundance of resale shops there like there are here in Tokyo. Does anyone know the locations of some? (and if they still have tickets for Namie and Ayu?)

Also, although we got our tickets from Saitama, this was incredibly informative. I was afraid to get the tickets from a resale shop at the last minute because I like feeling prepared, but I was really surprised by the amount of decently-priced (for resale) tickets in stores days before the show.

Edit: I found several by...Hommachi station? I think? I actually arrived via Sinsaibashi station and I just started walking down the endless shopping arcade until I reached some ticket counters at the end near Tower Records. One even had a really good floor seat but the girl in front of me got to it first. D:

This is a really great thread as I'm planning to maybe catch Ayu countdown live tour.

Do anyone have any info on that? If the concert ends after 12am, how do you get back to the hotel if it's not nearby as taxi in Tokyo cost a lot ...

^They end after 12am but the trains during the 31st always runs a bit longer then usual so it's okay. At least Yamamote line is still running so it's good if your hotel is nearby that line.

Then on AT2010 he asked me to marry him. He was such a sweet. And Ayu gave us our blessings. She was also such a sweet. Now me and Maro are such a sweets together. Aaaw, how time flies.

It depends on how far away your hotel is. As miss ellin said, some trains still run past midnight. But, you might end up having to make a night of it until 5am (when the trains start operating again) if you don't want to take a taxi. That's actually not too difficult since it is New Years; everyone is out partying late.

Two questions for the option of getting tickets via Internet and then printing them at a 7/11 can we choose our tickets or they give them randomly? And secondly for other arenas ( I'm going to go see her saitama concert) how do I know which tickets are floor seats and seating charts? Can someone help please

Since no one else has replied I'll do my best to answer some of your questions, though I've been inactive for so long that it might not be accurate.

If you order tickets to print on your own they should be random.

There are seating charts of the different arenas floating around, each one of them has a different seating system so you'd have to find out what the different blocks are called. There's a guide to how to read your ticket in the first post, I'll re-quote it here:

Kanji/Katakana: 1階南(South) or 1階北(North) <seat section> 列<seat no>番台

Type 3: Elevated Level 2 Seats (North or South) Row <seat no.>
Kanji/Katakana: 2階南(South) or 2階北(North) <seat section> 列<seat no.>番台

If you are watching auctions bids, some Japanese will like to censor the seats number section on the ticket photos. I do not understands why they does this. Probably they are sly traders. But usually in the bid description you can spot the full description of the tickets (Just look out for the Kanji/Katakana words i had listed).

It's best that you try to remember these few kanji words by heart as when you go to the concert venue you have to find these seats anyway.
Type 1, Arena ticket, are floor seats.

So now I'm interested in getting a ticket before I get to Japan.

Which of the shopping service websites is the best? fdjp looks good but the commission is quite big. Will better (and cheaper) tickets come through the yahoo auction shopping sites instead?

I'm looking to spend maybe 20,000 yen tops. Want to at least end up on the floor with a decent view. Is that a good budget or should I go higher?

Is anyone going to visit Fukuoka concerts in August? I'm currently looking for a good hostel to stay.

As expected they take only cash.

Thanks to this thread I got tickets for the concerts in Yoyogi very easily.
I´ve bought my tickets at the shop in Shibuya. Very helpful peoples there. And they had a good range of tickets even on the days of the concerts.
The shops in Shinjuku and Harajuku had only very few tickets.
