the description doesn't say anything but I don't think thats her mom.

It's weird, the lady talking sounds a bit like Ayu, but why would she hide her face? It may be someone who is close to Ayu but they don't want to reveal their identity? I thought I heard the announcer say "okasan" when they were showing her though.

They're talking about ayu's ear problem.

It seems like the lady in the video is another person who got a similar case to Ayu... being deaf in one ear for the same reason or something I think. It's not Ayu or anyone related to her.

wow... by 2001, 35000 people had the same problem that ayu has with her left ear now.

scary!

anyway, this video is showing other cases of people with the same ear problem... and at the end they show ayu's message that informed about her hearing loss.

This video made me really sad now

like those people say just before the end of the video, Ayu gambare!!!!!!!

yeah i heard "okasan" a couple times too.

would be nice if this is translated someday. seems like there wasn't much translated at that time about it, besides her own message where she tells about her deafness.

yeah it said Yamaka-san, she's also becoming deaf,she's talking like Ayu though XD

Yes, it seems she-s speaking in first person so it could be ayu definetely.

But why hiding? The look could be 2006 maybe?
