Didn't Love songs sell around 35K first day? I'm sure Kana will outsell Ayu, unfortunatly. =p

That was Love songs' second day ^^ The first day was 70k as people have already said. I don't doubt that Kana will have more longevity though. But her first day drop from her previous album (70k) is pretty big.

@chu-lips You're right, though. Solo artists are dwindling in sales these days.

me too lol but I'm really satisfied with her sales anyway.
She's selling well and her drop wasn't that dramatic, compared to other female singers. Like selling 2000 copies of albums in several months ugh.

It's not just solo artists, it's Japanese artists. haha. Korean groups are taking over, for reals.

Like, groups that have no promotion, other than the fact that they're Korean, are selling much more than domestic artists. It's unfortunate.

tbh, I don't really see many of these acts as long term successes. Remember when people thought Ai Otsuka was going to be a HUGE deal and then... she just fizzled out? Remember when ORANGE RANGE was selling like 2-3 million albums?

I also think it's kinda sad that like, BoA was like -the original- Korean act that came to Japan and now she's nowhere to be seen/flopped haha.

well not really the original, but you know what i mean.

/way of topic

I find that really sad. Especially considering a lot of Korean groups are complete carbon copies of each other

I can't believe Ayu's 3rd day was actually better too! Though I am sure that Kana will most likely outsell Ayu in a long run it's interesting to see how many rise and falls of other female artists has Ayu witnessed.
