I only like a couple photographs from this shoot. The Deji Deji pictures are better.

Donīt like her hair, is like a blondier version of Rainbow album Era...
one picture is OK where she smiles, but the fish mouth one is the uglier |

The accessories are crazy! I like the jeweled sleeve Not a fan of the slightly ganguro look, but at least Ayu's bringing something new to the table.

One of the worst photoshoots I've EVER seen by her
Ayu you're doing the same stuff over & over. You've already done everything... just keep it classy and act ur age plz. She looks so classless |

i think the whole "act your age" thing is coming from people who in their countries, people are supposed to "act their age"--but people in Japan dress young. Men and women wear trendy things that 20-somethings would be wearing too. I mean do you want ayu to start appearing on age appropriate magazines, such as ones for housewives and homemakers or something? People reading ViVi aren't reading it for wearing things for older audiences. Plus, other "older" female celebrities such as namie amuro would have to too start changing how they look too. Mini skirts at 31 would be considered a "no no" in, say, the USA or something, especially as a mother.
Even Matsuda Seiko wears clothing that young people would wear: So yeah...

That fishlips picture aside, I wish she wasn't so tanned in the photoshoot, especially paired with the really blonde wig.
I do like the animal print. Kinda remind me of this animal print dress thing I saw in Express (seems like it's the "it" thing this summer)

The worst picture is the cover! D: WHY?! Usually, covers are supposed to look good, you know, so that people would buy it. It doesn't even look like her.
My favourite is the Zebra-print dress. She looks hot there, and the necklace she's wearing, I WANT.

people buy vivi regardless >_< most people could honestly care less who's on the cover. I'm sure people who like ayu (or whoever is on the cover) will be more inclined to buy it, but i mean...there is stuff INSIDE the magazine that people want, too. haha. Japanese people aren't as obsessed at nitpicking everything that ayu does as much as this forum does
And if you were to see this cover amongst the other covers of the magazines out right now, this one definitely stands out. whether it's in a good way or bad way, it's easy to notice. I think being eye catching is more important than being "pleasing" to the eye. If that makes sense...

She needs to stop with the fish lips, pronto. I don't know who told her it was a good idea, but it wasn't, and it never will be.

Is this the same style of wig she wore for the covers of S/S?
