I love how it's so weird and not typical for Namie, it'll definitely be a favorite of mine, I love how it feels influenced by songs from the Totoro soundtrack, I hear it in the slower parts...

JUST PREORDERED BOTH THE CD AND CD/DVD COPIES OF WILD/Dr.!!! I can't wait for them to come in!

Gosh, it took forever to upload on that site. Finally saw it.

The song is ok and I plan on buying the Single, but the song feels disjointed. Maybe it's the way it was edited for the commercial and it will be a much smoother transition in the actual Single between the beginning slow parts and the faster parts that come later.

I do love the instrumentation though during the slow parts. Now that part isn't typical of Namie. Very atmospheric. Again, as a whole, not as good as I thought it would be based on the low quality version, but I still like it to some degree. The fast part makes me think of Marching. And I don't know if it's because of the attire of the people in the scene with Namie but that fast part of the song also brings the British to mind. SO I just imagine these Britishmen Marching in their Red and Black suits with the hats and guns.

Anyway, yeah. I like the beginning slow part more than the fast part. The fast part is more typical of Namie and sounds too familiar and kind of takes away from the song, but her slower parts are beautiful and different. I'll definitely be playing up the instrumental when I get it. That alone may just be worth it, even if I didn't like the song at all.

I don't think they actually play the chorus in the CMs. The "march" isn't necessarily the chorus, the arrangement could just be odd. It may be: Verse (slow part), 2nd part of the verse (the "opera" part"), then the bridge ("marching" part"), then the second verse, and then the chorus...

Well from the preview...I don't like it.
