At this Point it's already boring and annoying to see that same picture used for yet another digital single. Couldn't they found anything else to use?
But besides that I'm looking forward to listen to Gold Finger. Didn't enjoy her LLVL cover that much because her english kinda bothered me in it. It just didn't Help me to enjoy the Song as much as it could. So maybe the japanese version is something I can enjoy more |

Perhaps! Don't get me wrong, I find the Japanese language beautiful too and I love it. I just wasn't really expecting it because I never heard the original Hiromi Go version so I wasn't used to it

Both English and Japanese versions are fire, she sings them so well. What bothers me about this video is people walking back and forth while she’s singing. How rude, one person even waved goodbye 1:19

I wouldn't call that video professional, it's shot out of audience, too.
AWA is going to release the setlists from the participating artists in Osaka. And for Kuu they're also uploading the live recording of her performance! Too bad we'll probably never get this as you need her AWA plan.

I have heard the original Hiromi Go version in every year-end show, so I'm glad she covered it

The Asean Japan Festival 2019 broadcast started, Kumi was the first to perform. Her performance was pretty good, but she forgot the lyrics of POP DIVA and was a little lost for a second. lol
Also, the fake applause noise is something else (it's used every time the audience is clapping), a little distracting I have to say.

Her full set at the Jingu Hanabi Festival
It's so weird seeing people talking all over the whole performance. I would be so freaking mad if I was there with so much people talking around me. For those who goes do a-nation and stuff, is it like this to be there?

Wasn't at a-nation or the Jingu festival, but yes, that can happen. It depends where you're sitting though or better who's sitting around you.
Usually people are there for different reasons and festivals are long. Not to mention it's a stadium and there were a lot of people (like 30k maybe?). Kuu here e.g. was performing near the end and there were surely people only coming for the 1 hour fireworks show starting after Golden Bomber after her. Haven't watched this video yet, but there are a lot on social media and Kuu was well received though. News reports are saying the same.

I went to a-nation in 2015 and yes. Lots of people were even on their phone when the artists they weren’t there to see was performing. Different rules for festivals I guess, it’s an all day event and people can get up freely to walk around and get food /drinks.

^^^ What I like the most is that we are getting all this info and clips and photos more often than other years when people apparently didn't even care to talk about her. This is all wonderful hopefully she can regain more fans and or followers!

Unless you also mean news reports and such. I mean, she got invited again after 11 years (same with Ongaku no Hi after some time), so that's already great! Though I was just browsing through the comments on her Insta posts from yesterday and was reminded of your comment. This person writes she saw Kuu live for the very first time and was so flashed that she's a fan now! She calls herself oba-san, old lady, and calls Kuu jokingly a good kid. This one says she went alone, but the audience got in such high spirits when Kuu performed that it was awesome. This one is really happy that right in front of her was another fan (or fans) with the Kuu x Universal Studios towel sitting. And this one says that she was sitting at the first base just in front (it's a Baseball stadium), but when Kuu made that acrobatic dance, the cheering got really loud and people said how cool she'd be. She really got everyone excited, not only her fans, and this was great. ---------------------------- Kuu also teased the new Black Cherry shirt in her stories!

Looks like a combined sun and moon symbol to me.
And a gem or teardrop? Fits both to the pirates/mermaid story.

I love it. Hope she’s just using a big size and they’re not oversized style.

I like your point of view, Corvina, it does make sense now to me
I hope they announce all goods soon, the first concert is almost in a month from now. I guess they'll do it after the next a-nation performance. |
