I have yet to find someone in J-pop who has a voice that's beautiful, amazing, and touching. It's usually one or two out of the three.

The most beautiful.... It seemed hard to choose at first, but for me, without a doubt, the sweetest sounding voice is Mika's. I love it! So soothing and smooth.

I was caught between alan and ayaka but I chose ayaka in the end...I just love her soul/jazzy voice. She puts so much emotion into her music . alan's voice is only really beautiful when she hits those extremely high notes...which I'm sorry to say, is a little rare nowadays...otherwise, her voice is rather average in my opinion...pleasant but nothing too special .

Hmm I voted for Hikki, because the first thing that pops up in my mind when I think about her is her voice I was caught between her and alan, but chose Hikki at the end

Maybe in other people opinion it isn't the most beautiful voice in this list, but... I really enjoy listening to Kuu's voice. She owned my heart by live performances.
Mika Nakashima is very very close - she's awesome in her jazzy sounding songs. Chihiro Onitsuka's voice is decent too, but I can't enjoy any of her songs since Las Vegas album ...

i dunno before i looked at anything first thing that came to mind was Mika Nakashima
her voice is very soft and sweet but sometimes with this little flame of power
its very calming

but i like Shiina Ringo's, Hitomi Shimatani's, alan's, etc. voices too

ok, I voted for Koda Kumi... I think that her voice is one of the best, like ever... really, I'm not kidding.. when she's singing live, she sounds just like on the studioalbum, sometimes even better....


the sad part is; I'm not so found of her music .___.

Ayu and Namie's music are soo much more interesting, more artistic in a way.

From this list, I'm gonna have to say Chihiro Onitsuka

But I believe KOKIA has the most beautiful voice. That woman has such an amzing range its unbelievable. IMO, in terms of vocals NONE of these artists come near her.
