H/\LNA's name is "Haruna" - and You can pronounce that name as "Halna"

I heard somewhere that avex wanted H/\LNA to be second Ayu if Ayu would stop to sell so well. But it didn't go they way. I like H/\LNA's songs and PVs... but lots of my friends DO mistake her with AYu

there were a time people mistake ayumi for halna online with some anime fan made video.. with a song by halna...

uhh...this sure is weird! i think that they both have some just some similarities...but in the end, i think halna is an ayumi-chan copy...

For one thing. you can't say HAL (music-wise) is copying ayu's musical style. Anytime you heard ayu's music sounding like that (in songs like Far away, Fly high, appears, Dolls, etc), it's because it was THEM doing the arrangement. No one's copying anyone. You could say HAL is copying HAL but that makes no sense.

As for HALNA's look & style, that's a 100% blatant copy of ayumi. HAL were getting well known enough through ayu that they decided to form their OWN group with an ayu-ish singer. (the forming of their group isn't unlike DAI getting his own group for similar reasons.) Avex found a girl named Haruna who had a somewhat ayu-ish singing voice, put her in a group with HAL (who before this were just Toshiharu Umesaki and Atsushi Sato), and they became a jpop group instead of just arrangers/remixers.

Haruna became H/\LNA, she got plastic surgery to look more ayu-ish (got her lips done, BIG mistake, she looks weird now o_O), and practiced singing with ayu's mannerisms and was styled to look like ayu. The back of the "Violation of the Rules" album shows her from behind, obviously topless. Rather like LOVEppears in reverse.

Anyway, it seems that HALNA/HAL the group have disappeared. No news or releases in more than a year.

I always thought HALNA's lips looked sort of odd...wonder what she originally looks like.?

in my opinion i dont think haruna (halna) looks like ayu that much, or ayu looks like haruna either

i see only a bit of similarity to be honest, as in the "big eyes" bit, but apart from that.... nah. maybe its just me

She reminds me Ayu, though ayu is more beautiful than hal... I like her pictures.
