Just like the other thread said, when ayu become like an icon of Japan, a diva. there must have someone who likes to anti her , bash on her. Some like there's yang(represent positive). There sure got some ying(represent negative).

Those pic are old. I still remember i saw them quite a long time already. Even a same pose , A same sitting pose can be said as copying. How ridiculous is that!

Seem likes the one who made all this is a fan of madonna and Jenifer Lopez.

I think it's really funny! And I think Ayu has done a great job in reinventing herself till it matches the standards of Madonna! C'mon, you ONLY have that limited area of shots to take, fashion styles to take on and some of the comparisons AREN'T even similar! Which makes me laugh!

But I think this once against reflects on the MEGAness of Ayumi Hamasaki! Yup, it's quite cool! And you do spot many similarities! But again, I think a lot are just coincidences! The media can cook up whatever they want to!

And to add on! The most hilarious part is that they say Madonna is copying Ayu .... *faints* HAHA! Check the dates bro! But yup, I feel that Ayu has truly reinvented herself! And even if Anti-ayu fans want to use it as evidence, I would think that A LOT of the comparisons are REALLY weak ...

This person has nothing to do? But, mm, yeah.. Ayumi is very influenced by Madonna... mm, who isn't? But, yes, the tour 2002 outifits similarity is very obvious the outifit when she sings Never Ever has the same details as Madonna's outifit in Drowned World, like a weird lace between the legs..

Ayu's copied more than just outfits. She's copied concepts as well. Which would be a big part of her career since she's a very visual person rather than just being a music person.

It's ok to copy Madonna, but not ok to copy Ayumi? That's strange. I thought Ayumi is suppose to be the Madonna of Asia. If artists emulate her in anyway they're torn apart.

I have to agree with you.Personally if someone copies another does it really matter?I think that both Madonna and Ayu look great.Madonna is one of Ayu's idols that's probably why she takes Madonna's ideas and shifts them to her own version.Maybe the other artist that people claim copy Ayu are Ayu fans and like her ideas.

I don't think it's on purpose, Ayu is just inspired by Madonna and J.Lo. Jeez. At least it isn't EXACT copying. Even if it isn't, only a bored person could point out so much of the same details used in the PV.

Honestly, the copying stuff is dumb and stupid. Some of those comparisons are quite retarded, almost as if "OMG ayu is wearing a red skirt, so did Madonna once! ayu is copying!" and vice-versa. I agree with ruixiong that some (not all) of the pics are trying to push it way too far that actually looks very dumb. The jennifer Lopez one, "OMG ayu wore glasses, only Jennifer lopez can wear glasses AYU'S COPYING!" very, very dumb

As for the Jolin story, ayu at least admits she gets inspired on Madonna as an idol...Jolin just claims to be original, but that's another story.

Yup, Impactbreaker, thanks for supporting me on that, I think that was what I was trying to say, that you can't accuse people of copying just because they say wear glasses, or wear skirts! Similarities are fine, and this goes to show that both Ayu and Madonna have high fashion sense. I'm not saying that Ayu doesn't copy Madonna, as fans we probably will never know whether Ayu DID intentionally copy Madonna but the claim on the link that Madonna copied Ayu, that's just absurb.

So yup, I guess it's kinda cool to see similarities between Ayu and Madonna ... and about the thing that fans are torn apart when someone copies Ayu? Mmm ... let's just say that it depends on how fans take it. Not all fans are torn apart, but just say that when on many occassions, very strong similarities occur such as same dressings, same ideas, same concepts appear, that would lead to some debate ...
