This is going to be EPIC. I honestly wonder what the producers had to do to coerce Mr.Children into agreeing to appear at Kouhaku...they've always been so firmly against it. B'z...I'm not sure if they've ever appeared before or not.

Not as always. They won 4 years ago (where ayu performed moments ) There was a time where the no. of wins for each side were quite evened out but for the past 7 years, the guys won thrice at each end. Looking at the line up, i think the guys will win again this year... Why doesn't utada hikaru want to join in the fun? Especially since she has an album this year.

By the way does anyone know how they count points or how they judge?

They probably will. Mr.Children, B'z and KOBUKURO are about to clean up. I love Ayu, Namie, Kumi, and Angie, but Mr.Children's pretty much sealed the deal.

Can anyone explain to me why mihimaru GT and ikomonogakari are part of red team and not white? Is it by the artists' choice?
