Do you know that idol's name?

Hi guys!

I remember an idol from 90s or 00s. Her fans re-bought a lot her debut single (maybe, an older release) in order to reach the Oricon top years later. It is like we all buy again Ayu's 1998 "poker face" and make nº1 in 2017.

But I can't remember that singer's name! can you help me please?

Thank you so much! I'm writing a university report about Oricon significance in japanese music industry, so that's why I was looking for that idol.

I read that news in a magazine 10 years ago, but I can't remember much more

Maybe you're right, but it was in 2009 and I think I read that news before.
