Namie Amuro wins hands down, Kuu has absolutley nothing on Namie in any conceiveable way. Namie is better at hip-hop and everything else, plus she looks 10 000x hotter.

Kumi has in the past come out with some really excellent hip-hop songs. My favorite would probably be "NO TRICKS", but lately she has fallen off of the hip-hop bandwagon. Her music now is more pop and I haven't really been feelin' the hip-hop songs she has come out with recently.

Anyway, my vote goes to Namie. I think Namie has a voice more geared toward hip-hop/R&B. It's very smooth and sexy.

Namie Amuro for sure. I have crossed into the dark side and now I'm warming up to hip-hop songs ::hell has frozen over:: I LOVE Namie's Queen of Hip-Pop album, all of the songs are really top quality in terms of hip-hop. But.. I also like Kumi Koda's hip-hop songs because of the Indian feel to them. Still.. Namie's have a more polished feel to them, so I go with Namie.

Yeah, I know Kuu has other hip-hop songs. (Never liked "Hot Stuff", LOL.) But lately, they all sound the same.

Namie wins hands down - Koda has more cutesy pop songs while Namie has great songs like "No" "My Darling" "WANT ME WANT ME" "Violet Sauce" and "COME"

To me, Koda's stuff just seems very boring and random because it's like she's taking every demo tape that's sent to her and making it into songs so she could sell (maybe avex is pushing her too much now?)

Koda Kumi doesn't really sound Hip-Hop to me, honestly. Namie wins.

God I love Namie. She wins this hands down. I love Kuu, but Namie just grasps hip-hop better than Kuu does. STYLE and QoHP are both wonderful albums and CSCEIS was amazing.

I agree. I know it sounds bad to rag on Kumi but her songs really have been sounding pretty "blah" lately. It really feels like she's shelling out songs as fast as possible and not thinking too much about the quality.

Namie's songs sound very unique. They sound like they really are 'Namie' songs and not just any song.

I agree when you say that Koda's material is starting to sound very bland. She does have some pretty good hip hop/r&b songs, like Love goes like... & Gentle Words, but most of her hip hop songs sound like the ones I hear in America Namie, on the other hand, has some pretty unique hip hop/r&b songs, like Violet Sauce & WoWa

I love Kuu & Namie, but Namie is my pick hands down

I can't believe there are people who think of Koda as so hot, she's only just above average at most.

After hearing "No", I honestly can't say that Kuu is better so, yeah, ^^ Although I don't know enough about either, I can say Namie is better.
