I'm disappointing with the 3rd disk. The 5 remixes on there are songs we already have (actually time will tell -english version- is just a shorter version of the dub mix, so 4 remixes and one radio edit). How about giving us some songs that are vinyl/promo release only?

The demos are probably gonna be kinda cool, but in my experience with hearing demos, they're never too drastically different from the final version, usually just a lot more rough and low quality sounding, with maybe some altered lyrics.

Although that aside I will count my blessings and be glad that she's releasing this to begin with.

Sometimes demos are just cool to listen to. Bruno Mars has two demo songs on his latest CD's, and they're just stripped down acoustic versions, which are gorgeous may I add.

Florence + the Machine did this as well. The demo version of "What the Water Gave Me" sounds like an ambient R&B song, while the original is a typical F+tM song.

So these demo tracks will be fun to listen to! Hopefully we get some straight acoustics or something!

Something along the lines of "entertainment is a luxury not everyone can afford", or so I've been told is what they believe. I'm not sure if that's the true reason everything is so pricey.

I never ordered it. I have the original and Im not interested in remixes. Figured anything else I could just download. Also A LOT of her albums keep getting officially released here now at North American prices. They've already released Exodus, This Is The One, Ultra Blue, Heart Station, SCV1 & SCV2. Plus I compared Ultra Blue's Canadian Release to the Japan Press my friend owns. Theyre the same in everything right down to paper quality, so we might *crosses fingers* get this remastered version of First Love released here too. Plus my HMV actually carries 'em on a regular basis which is awesome. ♥♥♥♥♥

even just the cd+dvd would be a stretch. it'd be awesome if they did, but i'm not gonna hold my breath on that one.

I have it. I bought the record and I ripped it to my computer. The one that's been floating around for years is fake. I'd just like to have it in high quality.

I think when you play from vinyl yes, but the process of ripping the vinyl adds artifacts and/or degrades the quality from that of the source.

it is indeed higher quality, and there are even ways to rip it at a high quality but it's so expensive. The record itself is in quite a price range depending on the rarity. The Sakura Drops record cost me around $80. The record player I own was bought from Craig's list for around $575. I'm at my dorm right now and I left it at home which is a 2 1/2 hour drive from where I am, but I think it's a Technics SL-1200MK2. The needle cartridge it came with cost an extra $75. Also you need a phono pre-amp to hook it up to your computer to rip it or else you won't hear anything, and a cheap/low quality one will cost around $50, a high quality one will cost around $400.

I have everything but the phono-preamp. As soon as I get the money for that, I'll be able to rip all my records in flac. I have a nice little collection of stuff.

Sad to say, but I actually prefer the fan-made Sonic Sprout Mix over the official.
