I love all the queens, Ayu & Kuu are more dear to me though. I'm happy for them all still releasing & selling. I have kpop for groups, I need some good jpop already. because the last 3-4 years in jpop I've seen nothing but stagnation, it has deteriated much for me. and no new legendary artists seem to come...

Namie outslayed both Ayu & Kuu just in 2days!for 2days her sales are 165K

^ Everyone knew it was coming with Namie lol. She's been on fire since Queen of Hip Pop. She went through a slump (Style was NOT that bad of an album imo) that Ayu may be going back now. Don't know about Koda though...

i would totally love a second peak! but i dont think this summer album will do it =\ im figuring sales around 100k =\ like her last three singles..

Someone had said something about being surprised that namies sales were so high compared to Ayumi.... um, duh.

And Namie's sales aren't even done yet! I'm glad she did so well. Wish Ayumi could get something like that again.

It's good that namie is enjoying herself though The album is super commercial and it sounds good, but it doesn't sound personal or anything special for that matter. It could be anybody's album

Still, doesn't mean I'm not gonna enjoy it, I also just had to buy it, I want the pvs *o*


I also hope ayu can get high sales again someday, or at least keep her numbers.

Ayu could get a 2nd peak easily if she wanted, IMO.

There's so many things she could do but it doesn't seem like she's really trying to hit it big again (sales-wise). I think at this point she's settled with being a renowned pop star and making money off of tours.

Ayu need another hit single imo. i really hope party queen sales is the lowest point for Ayu (just like Style for Namie) and we can start anticipating a comeback from Ayu! finger crossed

if ASB can counter the sales dip, then there's still hope. ayu's ace as of now imo is Y&M and the ToX song. Those two should be EPIC and in a grander scale, something that is released like 12 years ago. Then, we could expect gamers to follow Ayu too, maybe?

I think that if she releases some singles for an album there are 2 options:
1. There would be a hit/semi-hit and it would help the album to be more popular than what it would be without it to the audience.
2. Maybe even with no hits but multiple singles for an album it still arouse interest more than no singles at all due to tie-ins (even not popular ones) and the single songs are the most recognised or arouse interest in the public.

That's why I think kuu's JAPONESQUE sold a few thousands more than Party Queen (because JAPONESQUE had 3 singles with 6 single songs on it).

Had ayu release at least 1 double a-side physical single I think it could do some more 10,000s with just a decent tie-in.

Maybe if progress would be a single or there would be another single for FIVE it could sell around 250,000 too.
Singles or single songs give more interest towards the general public (even if it's minor) and fans to look at an album.
