What is ayuready? A talk show? Or just something where she would sing a song?

It was a talkshow she hosted for about a year and a half before it ended in 2004 after Moments [?] was released. She would interview a lot of different musical guests and would sing a song of her own sometimes along with a duet featuring the guest's music. There were a ton of funny moments that came from Ayuready and honestly I wish it went on for a bit longer.

She has so many tracks that need to get performed and on a DVD/BD IMO. Mostly tracks from 2010 onward.

Any idea if the entire series is subbed? I've seen a few subbed episodes before but not sure if it was done for the entire series.

I think someone had a project to sub it all... maybe Delirium Zer0 via Ayumi-x Subs or something but they did not finish every episode.

Yeah, looking at the performances from that period really highlight the change in vocal quality.

They didn't. My membership expired last month and I stopped receiving e-mails from them. That's not a good strategy

The biggest change that's happened to her voice/technique in recent years would have to be her PoM vocals. I know she consulted with her old voice coach before the tour started but man, her "ahhh"s and "ehhh"s have just been sounding weird since then, especially if the key's low.

Yep.

A lot of people still include 2006 as her good vocal period, but this is definitely when it started.

Of course the ear issue has something to do with it as well, but the quality of her voice also changed. I do think a big part of it was over use and continuing to perform while sick etc and probably in her younger days just not warming up or taking care of it properly.

Yes, thank you! I knew something weird has been going on with her enunciation for a while, but I couldn't place what it was or where it started. I love the rearrangements in PoM but sometimes the songs are hard to listen to because she pronounces things so weird.

If you ask me I would say that her voice was good during CDL 05-06 but something happened between the AT 2006 and the release of Blue Bird ! However it was way better during the promotion of secret like if she had some training because the way she sung was clearer and "fuller" even her vibrato was different etc...

Sadly like it was said in 2011 she took vocal training with her old coach and I don't know what she asked her to do but it definitly changed her timber and since then she is quite unable to sings her older songs with ease.

I think AT06 was okay but she did something between then and a-nation/JEWEL where things went a little haywire. That was also the period where she gained a lot of weight in the summertime after the tour before a-nation and during JEWEL/Secret promotion and people were starting to wonder what was up. I recall a lot of odd posts during that first Music Station performance.
