^Songs like SURREAL, evolution and UNITE! are extremely difficult to sing because of their ridiculously fast pace.

I'm always singing or humming songs throughout the day. To Ayu's songs, I really only "la la la" throughout them. I know the chorus' of a few songs, such as fairyland, CAROLS, STEP you, ourselves, and Startin'.

The only song I've completely memorised is HEAVEN. During the school year, I tried out for student council and I did my student council speech in song. I wrote English lyrics and sang them to HEAVEN, but I was practising the song in Japanese before I wrote the English lyrics so I could really get used to singing it. I wanted it to be a super cheesy power ballad type song. Anyway, everyone loved it, I got a standing ovation and I was elected.

UNITE! is not really a fast song, but it is hard to sing because of its looong Ayu-style dragged notes. lol.

I don`t think STEP You is really fast. I actually caught on really quick with STEP You. Now Evolution, that`s gonna be hard.

if you practice evolution with her concerts then it should be fairly easy. just have fun, and the song will naturally teach itself. ^^

Evolution is fun to sing, even if I get a bit tounge tied. (that was the first non ballad I ever heard from her and I was like: man, she's singing really fast!)
Boys and Girls is another good song to sing too...
and I've got the chorus to Step You memorised and stuck in my head now!

SEL= Singable English Lyrics.

Basically, orenji jaro takes the original japanese lyrics of Ayu's songs and count the syllables of each word. he then creates the actual SEL(in english) by using words that fit the original song meaning and the orginal Japanese syllables.

it's not a direct translation. but the syllables are the same, so they're "singable" english lyrics.

For example:

Aisuru hito---> ai su ru hi to (5 syllables)
can be translated to...let's say..."if you be my man" lol
