[Old thread][2002]Ayu - Connected vinyl

didnt really see anyone post such info, so i might as well just copy wat i've posted at ayunite-sg to here

"anyway, tracklist:
AYU - Connected (DRIZ3001)
A1 PUSH'S Instrumental Dub Remix
A2 Ferry Corsten 12" Extended Mix
B1 Ferry Corsten 12" Instrumental Mix
B2 PUSH Club Mix

this one releases under drizzly records
there will be an upcoming one release under lightning records (LR2002025)
instead of ferry's 12" instrumental, there will be a Ambient Mix"

Thanks for the info!!!
Much appreciated

Now only if they would release it on CD.
I suppose I should contact Antler-Subway or DOS or Die to get them to release it

Thanks for the info. Would you have any idea what the chances of these tracks turning up on CD are?

Has anyone heard the push club mix? Is it any good? I wish they would quit making these analogs. Most peeps, like me, don't have a record player!

...but analogs are cool! they sound so much better than CDs, though they probably don't last as long. plus you can do cool scratchy stuff a la DJing. if i knew how to hook up the old record player back at home, i'd mess around with it.

Well, I guess vinyls sound better, but they pop and scratch, you know? And they are so huge! Can't play them in the car, or go jogging with them. Can you imagine? Going jogging with a huge record player hanging off your hip?

Omega uploaded the Push Club Mix to a yahoo briefcase. Please refer to this thread:

trainspotter: Why do they only release it on vinyl? Wouldn't they make more money by releasing a CD also?

nmskalmn: well djs r very unlikely to scratch CD on their live set
so the vinyl is actually aiming to the dance/djing/trance/watever market, not for ayu fans

what is the aim of making those vinyl since a majority of the population is no longer using it....
When i was young, my dad had one....but threw it away when CD players was invented.
