I prefer having things in the highest quality available. Most of my downloaded stuff is 320kbps.

I can't stand anything under 128kbps, and I'm even a bit iffy with 128kbps and 192kbps, caued sometimes they sound terrible.
I've had to be less picky with the First Listen Friday Glee songs, those never come in HQ to begin with.

But, yeah, unless it's really hard to get hold of a download I will almost always only choose 320kbps quality

I seriously can't even tell the difference unless the quality is really crappy, so I don't care.

This. Hard work went into writing and producing those songs and I think they deserve to be listened to at their best.

320k at the least. For an album I really like, I'll rip to lossless.

With a half-decent set of headphones it makes a world of difference.

I try and go for 320 when I can, espically for my favorite singers like Kuu and Ayu, I'm usually pretty anal about getting them in HQ. But for one song that I like by an artist I don't like, they get whatever is decent. It doesn't really matter, my iPod is 160GB. I hate having to choose between songs, I want them all, all the time.

320kbps. At least all of ayu's stuff. Everything I have on my phone (my music device) is above 256+kbps. Sometimes I even convert FLAC files to .mp3 320kbps to get the quality....

I rip all my CD's at 320kbps, more just out of habit that anything else (I seriously can't tell the difference as long as its at least 192kbps).

As long as its cd-rip then its fine, i cant tell the difference between 128 and 320 kbps cd-rip. it sounds the same lol.

Anything lower than 192kbps is like a slap in the face to the producers. You haven't truly experienced a song until you've heard it in its true quality.

Some songs have so much dimension and little components that you can hear in the background that you wouldn't pick up in a LQ version.

Low quality sound seems OK, until you hear the good stuff. 320kbps and up, or lossless, is even better.

It's like cleaning your ears, and suddenly everything sounds clearer, louder, closer.
