Sooo she hasn't even finnished all the songs yet? Sounds like a last minute rush job after all, so I guess this wasn't the "secret." Makes you wonder about the quality of the album.

^No, why should it be rushed? They simply decided to release it when it's finished instead of finishing the songs, and then wait a month, and then release.

Those flowers at the top of the picture is pretty cute.

People overreact to little stuff. Who cares if she's still recording? It doesn't take as long as some people think. Also, remember its Ayu. She likes stuff to be perfect. I'm sure she has TONS of unreleased lyrics, compositions, samples, etc to use at her dispose. I mean, she didn't take a 4 month break for nothing. Besides - Ayu always has said she waits until the last minute for everything, the way I am... was shot, set changed, cover, etc. It was all changed at the last minute before release. I mean, at one point she was releasing a new single every month. She's a hard worker. At least have faith in her, she's a professional now.

If it turns out bad, then there's nothing we can do. Don't think negatively of an album until you've heard the entire thing.

I'm happy that she's put so much energy into this, and the all nighters and such. She's been working hard, and I guess she feels it'll pay off for her fans

Even if the album's rushed, it doesnt mean the songs will be bad. Back then at her peak, she released singles like crazy and they're all hits and classics. I'm sure she knows what shes doing. I dont think she would just changed her mind last minute without having meetings and stuff with her staff and see if its possible to finish a full length album before the release date.

Ayu's working hard to bring out a full length album for us and I think we should atleast have some faith in her. She probably finished filming the new pvs (which I hope would be good since 3 out of 4 pvs this year have her dancers in it. It would be nice if she leave them out in the remaining pvs) As for the songs she probably finished writing the lyrics and stuff for it, just need to record it. I remembered someone said that WILL might of been done a long time ago since it was composed by DAI...so you never know maybe the album tracks in this album were done already.

Poor Ayu, she is going to squeeze her head trying to give us some more good lyrics and make her staff give her good music so she can work.

EXACTLY!!!
It kills me how people jump in conclusion WITHOUT hearing the actual materials and said they are rushed. How do you define a rushed song? Song that sounds bad=rushed?
For we all know, ayu could've just post that in TA and said they're still doing recording but really she've done it ages ago and now they're just putting the icing on the cake?

hmmn i dun have time to read the last two pages, but seems like "rushing" is the issue for those pages.

rushing doesn't equal "bad quality". sometimes wonderful materials can be produced in just a sec (maybe I exaggerate a bit LOL). I bet if teamayu's news are true and ayu's recording the songs at the last moment, she may have had some fantastic thoughts rushing inside her. She wanna write them out and express them in Secret

Saying the album is being rushed, is fact at this point as even Ayu said she and the staff will be rushing around and pulling all nighters.

This doesn't mean the tracks will be bad, but no one can say that they are going to be great either - everyones opinion on one side or the other is completely uninformed because no one has heard the tracks. People who are worried about the album should be allowed to express that opinion, along with the more optimistic people.

that's exactly what I was thinking. ayu had said it herself that they will be working their butts off trying to finish the album by the deadline. as for the quality of the songs, it's a tossup. it'll either be amazing, or it'll just be all right. but bad, imo, none of ayu's songs have been 'bad'. just have to wait and see how this "secret" will turn out.

And even if they were it's not like anyone of us will ever be able to judge if it was due to it being rushed or not. Other people will definately love it, and they will, likewise, be unable to judge if that's because it was rushed or not.
