Um...Aikawa Nanase is rock and she rules! So if you havn't herd her I seriously reccomend her. Her best songs imo are R-shitei and anything from the 'FOXTROT' album. Other than that I don't know much J-Rock ^_^;

Aikawa Nanase is really good. Um... let me think. Koekeshi Doll are really good too.
Not sure if they're rock, but Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her are cool, and then there's KANA.

Aiko isn't much j-rock, sorry. In any case, Shiina Ringo is brilliant, and most definitely rock. You could also try out Cocco, and Fra-Foa (band with female lead). There's some more though, however, I'm fond of these three, so there you go.

If you're looking more into the extremes of J-rock, you might want to try Anadorei (all-fem-punk-band) and Melt-Banana (female fronted psychohardcorepunk?).

Explore Shiina Ringo. Definitly. download 'gibusu' first, that's my favourite

NO! Gibusu should be the last file she should listen by shiina. I always asked people "Please tell me a good song by shiina" and they would always say the same 2 songs: Honnou and Gibusu. Because of it I hated shiina so much for such a long time because i was never a fan of those songs at all I just got back into her after I listened to "koko de kisu shite" and a few other songs. Just after that I started liking Gibusu and Honnou. But well since the majority always seem to love Gibusu so such, i guess she could start by it then =/

Shiina Ringo, well... just DL everything before you judge really. Her style goes from the more conventional "koko de kiss shite" to ... well, the whole KSK album. She has something for everyone, but not everyone will like everything by her. She's a genius though.

yes you were able to explain it! It's best to download everything before judging. Some tracks can be really scary and weird at first but once you get into her style you will get very familiar with it.

Exactly. Watch someone download just one song that happens to be 'Stoicism'. And lose all interest immediately.

Although I personally love it.

I love Stoicism too. <3

Although I was confused whether I had gotten the wrong song the first time I've heard it. o_O'
