2 Sales-related questions.

1. Do we know what the estimated USD value of Ayumi's records is?
I did a rough estimate for A BEST alone at its average price of 3,050 yen and, after some 4.3 million in sales, A BEST made more than $110 million USD in revenue split between avex and record stores. Do we have any clue around how much money Ayu's album/single/DVD sales have made record stores, avex, and everyone involved?

2. Do we have any clue how many tickets have been purchased by fans for Ayu's concerts over her career?
I don't have any info on this, but I think it would be interesting to see.

I used an average ticket cost of around 20,000 yen based on some people's assessments and ticket prices available on sites for Ayumi's most recent tour...

3,858,000 * 20,000 yen = 77,160,000,000 yen OR $642,063,792 USD in ticket sales.

That is absolutely nuts.

@mizuki-7

Thank you for posting that, it was interesting to see. She's remained pretty consistent throughout all these years. I still believe she can do much better, especially during the 15th anniversary tour.

I remember reading that Hotel Love songs Tour had 400k attendees?

EDIT: It was 300k, according to this http://www.tokyohive.com/article/201...ma-super-arena

That's without the additional October dates.

That is also definitely not accurate. Not even close.

The original article come from Oricon Style and was wrote when AT 2012 began so it was just prediction... but in the end it's 275 000 spectators for this AT^^

It's like for the AT 2015, Oricon expects 173 000 people but it can be more by the end of the show ^^

What is good is that though she quite struggles to sell her albums since few years she is still enough renowned to attract hundreds of thousands of people !! Maybe all her shows are not sold out like some years ago but she is still able to fill big arena a lot of singers with the same sales could only fill halls or arena with low capacity

Ok. Are these averaged prices or the lowest possible price for a seat?

Every ticket for a given show costs the same, sis, regardless of where the seats are. Deli posted retail value for each show since the ticket prices have fluctuated between tours.

So, the actual value of ticket sales is somewhere closer to $300,000,000 USD...?
