Yep, that is the pic I saw on Heyx3 as well.

You can tell that her and her mom have the same eyes. The hosts commented on how pretty her mom was.

edited to say: Oops, that wasn't on Heyx3 it was on the Kinki Kids show Love, Love Aishteru. Other than that, I haven't seen her Mom's pic posted anywhere.

Oh I know what you mean! I feel so sad for her. I just want to give her a big hug. And if she cried, I'd probably cry with her. I've seen pictures of her crying as she sings a song, I'm the same way.

Memorial Address isn't a cover. She wrote the lyrics. When she heard the song "KUMO" by Lovers Soundtrack, she thought the tune fit with the lyrics so she bought the rights to use it.

As for her dad passing away...I heard that she found information about her dad in 2003 that he had died & that is why she wrote Memorial Address, but don't take my word for it.

i read somewhere it was dedicated to her grandmother though the lyric about hearing that whoever it was dedicated to , to tell her that they love her even though it was only a lie really struck me as odd. if it is dedicated to her father, then maybe... OOH MAYBE THAT'S WHY THE 0630 IS WRITTEN THERE ?!?!

Hmm, if this is a project, you might need sources to cite for your information on her family too, right? As scant as her family tree is, I think finding the information published by a credible source would be near impossible. Good luck, tho!

Who... is about her grandmother (allegedly).
teddy bear is about her father (allegedly).
ever free is about a very close friend of her's who passed away (I forget his name).
Memorial address has been said to be the successor to teddy bear, also about her father.

0630 represents June 30. Take this quote from masa's website as something that Ayu said directly:

Ayu grew up without a daddy-he had gone away when she was very little, and she doesn't remember him quite good. Ayu thinks that he was a fisherman, because she always went with him to the river, and in their house there were a lot fisherman's things. As Ayu remembers, her father went away from them to America. Her mom was very confident woman, full of men's attention. She always looked great, even at home she looked fashionable and had make-up. She had a great taste of style and was fond of fashion. She didn't look after Ayu, grandma did this. Her mom almoust all day was on her work, in the evening she usually came back with man. Ayu's granny died, when Ayu was recording her first single "poker face".

She also talks briefly about her family in that NTV special interview thingy in 2004. I remember he talking about her father being a fisherman maybe, just like RAISKA mentioned.

I've never heard mention of her father going to America though?
