ah I was just about to ask her if she was a creepy fangirl of Johnny's Entertainment like the majority of Japan is...then I realized tomoya I can't find a question that won't sound offensive/personal in some little way WHYYY!???

^you can ask her haha,I'm gonna post in it English and then a sad japanese translation after: and then write I don't speak japanese in japanese at the bottom so they understand my poor language skills, cause thats one of the few full phrases I know how to say. I would tell her COME TO MELBOURNE..its uh fun cause we have grass o.O, but seeing as this is a selected question...I think I'd like it to not be so general otherwise it'll never get picked. though you could add that kind of message after you ask your real question. iunno just my thoughts

LOL, well, I used the knowledge I got from my short-live japanese class, they were just basic sentences anyway~ I'm sure she will understand when I asked "anime o mimasu ka?" XDD

But then again, you can always use English, Ayu can understand English!

^ well Ayu still speaks very little english. Despite having it in her songs and doing that interview at CNN, etc. You can still tell its kind of tell that its a weak area for her. Although I don't think Ayu is reading these personally..it's kinda impossible with her schedule. I think it'll be people who do it for her and either ask her which ones she wants to answer, or they might surprise her with it. ON the other hand your right I can still write it in english, cause I think there should be some kind of translator there available.

I think that's too long? I heard the word limit is 200 chars only So I had a hard time shortening my messages, and I did tel her my japanese is weak too, although I'm not sure if the sentence structure is correct. I said, "Nihongo sukoshi dake hanashimasu." Is it correct?

I don't know if you way is correct, I don;t major in Japanese mine is all self taught, which is why I'm very weak. Although I'm gonna try translating it the best I can ^_^'

And I don't think it'll be too long if you just say for eg.

You don't really need to say you whole life story, just like a question and sentence or two if there's space.

I did mine in English (well, a little bit of shittily-written Japanese towards the end ). I doubt it matters, as she will probably have translators available.
