Ayumi Hamasaki to contribute two songs to a VG

Perhaps there'll be "album versions" and "single/Game" versions of the songs. I'd love to see a new single with tons of remixes like the old ones had.

this is cool news!! another game with her songs. too bad Square Enix wouldn't use her. hopefully when this game is released in U.S, they'll keep her songs in it.

I don't think that Startin' and Rainy Day will be a single, but there might be PVs for them like with About You, walking proud, and Humming 7/4. ^_^

I think Ayu is making a lot of singles so she can break the record for most #1 singles.

So far this year she has:
STEP you/is this LOVE?
fairyland/alterna
HEAVEN/Will
Soon:
BOLD & DELICIOUS/Pride
Startin' / Rainy Day (???)

*Also "appears" was a single after the album and it was just a collection of remixes. Maybe they will do that if Startin' / Rainy Day is the next single.

Yeah you're right. That might be a possibility indeed. If it shall be a re-cut single, if the songs shall be included in the album, that is, I do hope there will be a lot of remixes to make up for it though.

Ayu has been working so hard lately, I want to listen to a preview of startin'/rainy days. she doesn't usually do vg songs

^ well she did for Thousand Arms and i don't think artists should do lots of VG songs, they should do more movie soundtrack ^^.
I do hope avex and capcom release a re-cut single containing 10 remixes of the songs,, that'll be more than cool!! I just hope the PVs won't be containing a lot of the FMV from the game thou

same here on all counts. I dont think Ayu will ever sing for FF. FFX2's music pales in comparison of the epic sounds from FF 3,6,8,9 and 10.

I think it's possible. I suppose that this songs will be released as independent product (maybe not related with other production of AYU)
