Well, if it is true... I'm not very surprised... x_x

Japan would probably want someone younger and more talented like Ai Otsuka.

Lee Hyori??? LOL... what a joke! I bet she doesn't be that good than Ayumi. And in addtion, the Chinese news never can be trusted. Yeah, maybe the Japananese wants something new, Otsuka Ai is a good example. I started to like her, but I still like Ayumi better

Wow, how sad. I guess the HK people came out with this damn rumor because none of their artists actually sing live. Believe, i'm chinese and i do watch that kind of show and all they do is lipsying.

Leon's been singing for almost 20 years, he's no MISIA, but to doubt a veteran with nearly 20 years of experience's live singing ability?

One of the China guy is pretty loud and projects very well, although a little exaggerated, haven't heard of the 2nd China guy.

Every industry has it's share of good and bad singers, there's alot of good live singers but I'm not going to generalise by saying Chinese singers are good live. I reply because people make ignorant comments like this.

Accept the fact, alot of chinese singers can;t sing live. open up your ears. ONly a few singers like jacky cheung, andy lau, eason chan, sammi, and a few more singers that are capable to sing live. The chinese industries are pretty bad because there are too many new singers every year and they do not know how to sing.

well maybe [if the Hong kong tabloid is true] that japanese people think ayumi is an embarassment for a reason?? Unless you are hard of hearing it's kind of obvious ayumi's voice does just get worse, not just talking about live performances either

-_-; *shakes head* geez, it was also Ayumi that helped Japan be known to us Jpop fan now!! It's not right that they don't support her! T T; I hope Ayumi won't take this seriously and do her greatest! That's what matters!

I guess it's true her voice sometimes gets off when she sings nowadays. But her recent songs still seem really good. So I don't think her voice is going downhill so much that they need to say that..

Getting so off-topic here, but open up your mind. People who don't even keep up with Chinese music that much always jump on the bandwagon that all new artists suck just because they are only exposed to a very few popular examples like Twins and jumping to conclusion.

By the way, the thread starter doesn't have a link to the article...

Blah blah blah blah. Same crap as usual. Someone posts something ridiculous, everyone gets in an uproar...never seen this before have we?

Anyyyyhow, I disagree that Ayu's voice has gone down. I mean, a lot of her lives do sound kinda off, but she's always been a little hit and miss. A lot of the CAROLS lives sucked, but she was really good at Arena Tour this time.

One thing I've learned from reading HK news is NEVER believe what they say. All my Japanese friends told me that AYu is quite respected in Japan and they are proud that she is so well-known around the world!!!
