I've just finished going through the thread again more thoroughly - I remember when the (m)u covers were released and everybody hated them so much xD Now most of us think the covers are at least nice/good (I always liked them ) I think the album will grow on us in the coming months. I can't get over that tracklist though :lol

I think the most amazing thing is the Load of the Shugyo - this is the first time Ayu's romanized a Japanese word in her titles! Pieces of SEVEN makes me think of Ayu-Pirates xDD

Now I wish I'd paid for the top shipping, not gotten the free one from YA and the cheap shipping from CDJ! *cries*

Yup. Still obviously we only have the tracklist and covers to go by, but come on. This isn't the NEXT LEVEL, this is like she devolved a few levels instead. Ayu used to create the trends, not follow them. And this, at least from how it appears is just trying to follow the recent dance retropoppish trend ala Madonna, Britney, and even Namie. That's not a "Next" anything. If somehow I hear the album and end up loving it though, trust me, I'll be the first one to admit it. I actually really like dance/techno music and Loveappears is one of my favorite albums. But Sparkle is no LoveAppears, if it is any indication. And I certainly hope we don't get an album of Sparkle like lyrics.

I'd say that only applies to casual listeners who randomly bought it in the store, all fans knew an album was coming. That's the exact reason I didn't buy the CD+DVD, first time for me since.. BLUE BIRD, obviously an album was coming with the same video and making of.

Obviously the Rule PV was going to be on the album, but nobody knew about the Sparkle PV. Rule/Sparkle was a double A side, yet the second A side had no PV - now it suddenly does. I'd feel a little jipped.

Somehow reminds me of Rule/Sparkle. All this colorful set. I think I like cover after all even though that First Impression was like: "WTF!?"
And yay PV for Sparkle!! Yahoo!!
