What an absolutely phenomenal show! Every performance was just perfect...absolutely perfect. ayu sang each song beautifully & speaking of beautiful...she simply looked beautiful, as well. The part during the interview, where she was tearing up, totally got me. I don't like to see anyone cry, especially ayu! But then watching the last performance of the show ("Step by step") I immediately got happy, all over again! Such an uplifting performance. Overall, this was an excellent little "mini-concert" type of thing & now I totally look forward to watching more of these in the near future.

Yes I am really surprised to see her singing in such a good vocal after soooooooooo many years. I almost teared up just because of this! Wonder what has she done to have her voice back? Did she inject something to her throat? As I ever heard before that some singers will do throat injection to improve their singing.

And I am looking forward to the subtitles for the interview part too!

Already working on it! Indeed, the subs under Ayu make this SO MUCH EASIER. This whole thing is really helping me work on my listening. The narrator's thick tokyo accent has made things a bit hard on that front though lol...

Overall though, it goes through a very basic summary of her career philosophies for herself. First they touch on the fact that she writes songs that focus on sadness and pain & that girls in her peer group sympathized with the "ibasho ga nakatta" theme in her early stuff; then she talks about the separation between Hamasaki Ayumi the artist & her personal life; then she talks about how she creates big Vegas-style shows in order to create a "dream world" like the kind she experienced when she first saw a Vegas style show herself; then she touches on Movin' on without you a bit; then the narrator mentions that the shows on this tour were 3 1/2 hours long, and Ayu goes into the reason why... this is the part where she cries, and explains that she really felt stuck in a rut & thought that moving to LA was the right thing to do for her at the time, but when she did she felt like she was abandoning everyone in her home country. She couldn't help but think about it the whole time she was in LA, and ultimately she was like "screw it, this isn't good for me, I'm going back to Japan" and when she got back, everyone was still there for her just like they'd always been. So she couldn't help but stick around on stage during the MCs for as long as she could.

Oh my God, that performance. I usually have to skip a song here or there when I'm watching concerts (especially evolution since I've heard it so much.) because I'll either get quickly bored or because her vocals would be such a turn-off I didn't care to watch the rest, no matter how cool the tricks/stage/atmosphere. But I didn't have to this time, I didn't even feel the need to because she was doing so well and that made me so happy!! When the show was over I actually was a little dumbfounded. "What? It's over? No. I wanted more." I haven't wanted more performance from her in a while, if that makes sense. Usually when a concert/tv show performance is done I move on but this time around I felt like I was almost ripped off with how little performances there were! I wanted more! This is great! All her hard work is paying off so well. It's motivating me!! haha!! xD God, I almost want to say 2015 is her best year ever just because of after all the turmoil, all the mistakes, the confusion, the heartbreak, she returns and she makes it look like the easiest thing. I love this woman. Really.
