Regardless, this is very shocking news to me. The loss of hearing, although only one ear, is a loss of sense... hearing affects so many other functions, and I don't understand how Ayumi is still pushing forward. She should retire from doing concerts. There are so much other things that can be done by a famous artist like her. |
is it possible that ayu knows from her left ear being deaf back in 2006?
I thought maybe this is the reason why she called her 9th album Secret? |
After Dome Tour she said that her left ear was gradually getting better. But now, I think that she didn't want to tell anybody that it is actually getting worse, till now when there is nothing she can do about it.

That makes so much sense though, i always wondered why she'd always touch her earphone all the time...more than one would expect. She sure is doing her her thing!! Go AYU!!!

I ALWAYS stumble for no reason, and I've wondered why. I never thought it could be connected to something like that :shrug That's kind of scary :no

Well, in the case of hearing problems, stumbling would be due to vertigo (feeling of imbalance associated with rotation - either you roatate around things, or the things rotate around you). If you stumble without vertigo, then it's definitely not related. ayu could have suffered attacks of vertigo, but obviously, nothing is confirmed. She could have tripped just out of clumsiness anyway.

I hope she doesn't have meniere, but I also think that she should get a break =| I mean, the feeling I get is that she's pushing herself too much... I mean, she's showing great courage and determination by moving on and I greatly admire her for that, but still a little break would be good for her.

it makes me worry about ayu even more after looking at those gifs...i hope shes alright and have a healthy body like any normal people~and hope she will get over the deafness of her left ear soon too..

I will pray for Ayu, have a good and healthy. Staying healthy is cool! Moreover, its a good and very brave thing for her to make it public. And, I really admire her perseverance and determination to carry on singing. What she says. omg. Respect her even more.
