A big thank you to our unsung heroes for the 2004 NTV documentary! :love
It's high time I stop lurking and finally contribute back to this forum and everyone whom I've mooched off for the last few years :P

With that, I'm willing to help with both Chinese and Japanese translations. Chinese is my mother tongue and I studied Japanese for nearly 5 years previously. Got to JLPT N2, but I'm not very proficient at catching the words/meanings of spoken Japanese. Still, I'd like to help where possible!!

Yeah hehe the main reason I'm doing this is to give back but to also just to immerse myself a bit more in Japanese since I've slacked a lot with studying because of work and my upcoming degree.

I translated the 2000 NTV Documentary once (here). I don't think anyone ever managed to sub it?

It's kinda old though so it might not be 100% perfect. And someone should definitely check my English first :laugh

This sounds like something I can do! I've been learning Japanese for a while though I had to take a break since I started my internship. Basically on the level of 'I can speak it, I can converse with people in Japanese, but listening to native speakers is still pretty tough'. Hopefully this would reduce my rustiness with the language. Man, a few weeks without the classes and I'm already bad! Just recently passed JLPT N5 as well, not sure if that means anything, hahaha.

(I've been inactive in a while, pretty much a lurker now, so yeah. Hi!)

Hi! And omg yes, PLEASE DO. Anything you feel like transcribing, I will probably feel like translating lol

Well, I wouldn't know where to start. I'm looking at the speech video that Kishidan made for AT12 or the SMAP episode! Has this subbing project even started yet? I guess I could start transcribing on my own in the mean time though.

Edit: Found the making of CDL 2010-2011 on youtube!

Might try that first! :D

Actually, do you think you could transcribe an old OLD old radio interview from 1996? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tATmCbjiurk :) I know the sound quality isn't great but this is just SUCH an awesome thing to find on youtube, it's worth a shot!

The group is on FB, do you have FB so we can add you?
