Haha, well, I agree! The main point in the music industry, which I think really matters, is how WELL you manage to pull off a look. I think Ayu pulls off looks very well, although they have been "copied" from Madonna. If she's able to inject her own image and style in it, I don't really think there's a problem.

However, there are others which are so NOT original ... *coughs* Gosh, I'm still so HATING that J person. Haha, well, no offence. I just don't see why people are so worked up over the fact that some of Ayu's images are inspired by other artistes.

These threads that keep coming up about ppl copying ayumi or ayumi copying them is getting really annoying. So what if ppl copied ayumi? So what is ayumi copied them? Have we all forgot the saying 'imitation is the best form of flattery'? Maybe Ayumi copying Celine is saying that she really likes Celine's style. Maybe Jolin copying ayumi is saying Jolin likes Ayu's (No offense to Jolin fans, it could be the opposite way around). We'll never know why exactly these ppl mimic each other, or if they actually intended to. So can we please stop threads like this? It saves from arguing.

Haha, cuz I feel that Jolin doesn't do a job as good as Ayu! Haha, well, I've learnt to respect that Jolin does have some kind of a style on her own but it's just that I feel that Jolin has gone a bit absurb with her copying in the sense that I feel that she doesn't have a style of her own.

Ok ... well, enuff with the Jolin talk. Yar, just as mentioned above, it's ok to like take your style from another artiste but then if you can have some value addedness inside, and inject some of your own style and flavour, then Voila! That's my sentiments.
