I just got an email from CDJapan that they shipped my copies. <3 I even chose EMS as shipping method this time, which I totally forgot. So I should get my package in 3 to 6 days. I hope I will be lucky and won't have to pay customs and therefore wait longer until I get it...

I'm pissed as hell. I paid for EMS shipping in order to get my CDs FASTER than usual. Now it finally was about to be delivered and the delivery guy was standing on my door mat already - but I would have had to pay customs IN CASH. Well sorry that I don't have enough cash at home at a Saturday morning before 10 o'clock.
He told me I had to choose another date online for delivery. I was asking him why he doesn't just drop it off at my nearby post office as usual and he replied, because it was DHL EXPRESS and not just DHL.
Are you fucking kidding me? Express, sure. I have to choose a delivery time span of 5 hours on a WEEK DAY. Yeah because I can tell me teachers at university that I can't come to class, because a package needs to be delivered. Honesty, this is a fucking joke. -.-
At least my room mate said they can deliver it to her work place on Monday, but poor woman has to go to lunch now before 11 am because of that delivery time span of 5 fucking hours...
Sorry, needed to rant. lol I was so waiting for my CDs and would have loved to get them today. ;_;

^ I'm sorry to hear about that D: I do not need to pay customs but I understand the frustration in not getting ems / airmail delivered parcels as I also encounter the same problem cos the postman has to come up my house each time

The upside is your parcel is more or less here . Next time if you encounter this problem , better have some spare cash on hand so that you will not deal with such a problem again

^thank you Karen, yeah I guess I will have some at home next time. This DHL "Express" "service" delivered for the first time to my apartment. Normally, when I don't have cash, they just drop it of at the post office, which is just 15 minutes away by feet and wouldn't have been a problem. Well, next time I know.^^

I thought CDJapan uses EMS for their EMS parcels ? I also am not sure about this Express service that DHL offers because I don't use them

This time round do you have to pay a lot for custom tax ? It's unfortunate that CDJapan cannot undeclared the value of the CDs if not I'm sure you wouldn't need to pay any taxes at all :x
