I received this response Email from CDJapan:

Hello

Thank you for your mail
and we apologize for our late response.

We have made an inquiry to AVEX and it took a little time
for them to investigate this issue.

We just received a report from AVEX officially confirming that
no lead was detected from the dissolution test.

They have also given us a proof of the test results.

So there is no need to worry about lead anymore.

Sincerely,
Mana Miyamoto

Gosh... okay :rolleyes

It seems that the Mexican authorities weren't interested in letting the tea or the ceramic into the country at any cost. Is their law, etc.

The "lead" thing doesn't seem very accurate, she said "the thing is that ceramic items contains "Lead" so if I'm ordering ceramics I have to ask the permission. Is a health department thingy."

Is not referring to the RnRC mug particularly.

I never said you lied, but you guys just assumed the mug contains lead because they wouldn't let in in a country a certain type of item or material.

Every country has their own laws of what to bring in or not. She didn't say the Mexican authorities stopped her parcel because the RnRC mug had lead, she only said that they wouldn't allow ceramics which might contain lead, as well as not.
